Ordered the new trolley on Friday. Kona Elite 1.6T DCT7 in Pulse Red with Towbar & the full Dura-Seal protection system for paint & leather. Should get it Friday or early the following week. The pulse red is close to BMW's Imola Red. http://www.autocar.co.nz/car-reviews-app/2018-hyundai-kona-elite-review

Not often I can make a contribution without asking but here goes. Purchased a NZ new 2005 e60 530d with a CCC MASK Idrive system in it with the 6 disc changer, unfortunately it didn't come optioned with bluetooth nor could you easily retrofit aux. Options were: Dension Gateway 500s for a small fortune, or https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bluetooth-Music-Adapter-BMW-5-Series-E60-E61-i-Drive-Business-Professional-M-ASK-/222297726822 I was a bit hesitant when it arrived, did plenty of research that indicated i'd need to code in MP3 and enable the MASK system to see the new functionality. Turned out, hooked into the cd changer 12v, plugged up the fibre connection and after a couple of minutes for it to recognise the new functionality i had spotify working over bluetooth, aux in, and although it didnt show it in the communication screen it allowed me to answer a bluetooth phone call. No coding necessary. Although it just shows CD1,2,3 etc instead of the track names/artists, but the steering wheel functions work just like factory. Not bad for $200 landed either.

With those control arms you just need to whack them with a hammer and they pop right out, no need to heat up etc. Even if you try get a pry bar between them and the subframe a hammer always does the trick. It does have to be directly on top of the ball boint itself though, makes a massive difference.

211,250 km replaced the battery ground terminal today with OEM Part #: BMW-12421436910 I had broken the bolt on the old one trying to tighten it after experiencing a couple of bricked car scenarios due to it losing contact. Also eliminted a front passenger door rattle after finding the screw from the door card to the door missing.

I pulled apart the radar receiver on my (ancient) Escort Passport SR7 (permanent install) the other day, cleaned all the contacts, etc etc, put it back together, but was not optimistic that I had addressed the continual "self calibration error" on startup... Today I drove it including multiple starts and the device performed without hitch - which is a first since owning the car.. Optimism grows...

Waynes out in Whitford with loan cars Chris. That may be a bit far for you though. He's going to be doing all my servicing now. I've been a servant to the masses for far to long and don't want to be working at home on cars now that I'm retired. The only others I have faith in recommending would be BM Workshop Botany or Grey Lynn

I know that but no sane person would run those size tyres unless it was to fit an e46 or some other stanced out car. Haha

Most of them come off E65s. That’s about the most valuable thing on an E65 ?

I think he probably bought the wheels from someone who had them fitted on an e46 or similar and used the same tyres hence wrong size for the e38.

Having to wait for your new trolley to be processed. Last one available in the colour I wanted after selling 2 of our other cars ? Also for sale is the Ti M52B28..... you can take it away for $8,000...... owes me more than $20,000

I bought it the other car as a daily for the asking price, full BMW service history and two new RE002 tyres. The spec's are exactly the same as John's from factory, although the Alu Cube was replaced with wood. So that will be getting retrofitted. Odometer has just clicked 118k.
