Hi, I bought this car. Good original condition, not flawless but a good survivor. I like the auto as I drive it quite a bit in Auckland traffic. I've got other toys that are manual. I've also got an E46 330i for daily use.

A few years back I bought a bunch of genuine BMW GT1 units from a computer recycler overseas. All but one was working and the rest had smashed touch screens. I managed to salvage all but one of them (broken mainboard) and replaced the units with brand new genuine lcd panels and genuine touch screen panels and repair the hard drives. I further sourced genuine Sincon 28V power supplies for these. (Extremely hard to find) I was going to repack the batteries but have never gotten around to it - so the batteries are dead. You therefore have to use the units with the docking station only. The units originally came with genuine v57 DIS discs inside the cd drive and together with a set of genuine v44 coding discs I had I modified it to have both diagnostics v57 (up to around Feb 2008 cars) and v44 coding. (Discs not included with sale). The units will also come with a genuine yellow diagnostic head but replica cables from ebay for that authentic experience (these can be used wirelessly unlike the clone heads) Are these better than your laptop version vmware DIS? Yes and no, but you can’t beat the cool and nostalgic factor of having a genuine BMW diagnostic system. The asking price is therefore a reflection of these being a bit of a collectable so it is not for everyone - so leave comments about the price in your head thanks! I have seen working units of these sell on ebay for over us$2000 but I am asking less of course. Genuine working diagnostic heads alone can go for $1000 or more. Am interested on how you go @Herbmiester - I will be doing a complete front suspension refresh on my 840ci. Have all the parts, including whole arms, just need to get them installed ☹️

Hopefully finally get a chance to swap them onto mine over the christmas break, see how they bolt up and such.

This one originally sold for $4.4K dollar reserve. Was immediately re-listed but has been for sale for ages. Does look like a nice car though. I feel a key issue for E34 540s is most of them have done “high ks” (250,000+) which turn away majority of people who are unaware how reliable the M60 B40 generally is.

"Selling as is as I don’t want to good through the grief of repairing the trans" Translation: I dont want to fix the transmission because a transmission rebuild costs ~5k, which is what the car is worth.

No care, no responsibility. Amazingly, people get fired from this company for being hopeless, so they do have standards... Somewhere!

happened to me, took 10 days for Aramex to get to Welly, lost my request (Via UPS) to call me to collect from depot, delivered and left by my mailbox (no authority to leave), box damaged. Aramex are the worst courier company I've encountered in any country. Rebranding from Fastway has not improved anything. #complaintoUPS I said "Had I known UPS would assign my parcel to Aramex I'd have requested my vendor use another carrier"
