Hi guys, On the hunt for a set of OEM aero roof racks for my E34 Touring. Really not keen on some of the other aftermarket options. I have included a photo of what I am after, and what they will be going on. Cheers guys!

Lovely looking Cirrusblau(?) E28 525 in Wairau just now - beautiful car - such a great colour with the chrome trim and polished lips.

Removing the cats will likely create a lot of rasp. I removed my cats and replaced with 50mm tube. Was quite a bit louder and rasped like crazy. It also makes the tin box behind the cats rattle really bad. The tubes going into the cats appear to be 63mm but are dual skinned to keep the temperature high for the cats to work properly. The inner tube is 50mm. Ended up putting 2 x custom made 250mm resonators from AdrenalineR where the cats were and it settled things down nicely. Was still a bit more noisy (but deep sounding) with almost no rasp.

I found poly is just more hassle than its worth on parts that twist. Stopped using it for everything expect fixed mounts after ongoing issues. Would be interesting to compare the steering feel between the solid to the new OE one. Everyone always compares worn OE to new which isn't exactly a fair test.

the Japanese sale brochures never mentioned colour, but given a keen eye, I believe the colour combos are: Delphin grey body / Vulcan grey kit Lazur blue body / Atlantis blue kit Lachs sliver body / Vulcan grey kit Diamond black body / Vulcan grey kit

fcp parcel arrived today!!! A couple of things I've learned over the last few days 1. FCP will only use UPS now (well that's what they told me anyway) 2. UPS have a contract with Aramex to deliver their stuff in NZ (according to the person I spoke to at UPS). I won't say never, but I think I'll probably go back to Pelican, it's a bit more expensive but they currently let you choose from DHL, FedEx or USPS.

100%, complaint is already underway. I'll never use UPS again. Parcel update, it scanned as arriving in the Aramex Wellington depot this morning, so that took 7 days to get from Auckland to Wellington Do you think I could go down there and pick it up? I've got a mental image of them having such a backlog they wouldn't even be able to find it if I asked them to. By contrast, a package I thought was coming from a NZ company came out of China using DHL. It was picked up on 2 December in China and delivered to my door today. Very happy with that!
