My son bought a cheap B19 engine for the sump and we are parting out the rest. He also has a M43B18 sump (oopsie). All parts need to be collected due to weight. Hi all, I have been reading a few threads about your E46's, so thought I would post a few pics of my daily. Its a 2003 330d M-sport Touring. Originally a UK Car, very high spec with factory sat nav, Harmon Kardon, Glass sunroof and heated seats. I really love the torque and power from these engines, and they even sound good! I have had no issues with it since my ownership apart from a new air con compressor last year. Its just been routine maintenance using genuine parts supplied from the BM Workshop here in ChCh. Pulled the motor out the e39 and stripped the box off all ready to exchange for a good running one from Mad_Max. Garage is a bit tight for room so just left it on the crane and rolled it back into the engine bay until it’s time to go.

After a 2 year hiatus due to family things it was a mad 3 month scramble to get the drift e36 back together with the new gen4 6.0, ecu, wiring, gbox, clutch, exhaust etc etc. Had a few teething issues with the new cam/valve springs and cooling system but managed to get it up and running the day we need to head off for two days of drifting 😰 so loaded up and hoped for the best... and we got it, two days full noise and not a single issue, couldn't believe it lol. Now its time to dial in more rear grip (running a 265/35/18) and find a good solution to upgrade the rearend - diff/axles

When are we going for a drive around Auckland...? My ones heating up recently. It took me 3 months for sort out the expansion tank delete. Just no time ay😞

Not sure exactly, but somewhere between 10 and 15 thousand Km sounds about right.
