Came back to a parking buddy in downtown this afternoon - a Bimmersporter perhaps - pretty sure it had CSL seats that had me double taking.

That's a pretty good one there. Powerbuilt is generally still pretty good with the heavy equipment. I am still using my 26 year old powerbuilt socket set. Got me thinking about returning my small jack and fixing and selling my wayco to buy this one.

My main issue when ordering bulk vehicle parts in NZ(more so as retail customer) is the lack of online ordering systems. Ordering from overseas is so much efficient for anyone accustomed it. Sending big parts lists to the dealership for pricing\availability creates too many issues unless you dont care about pricing and\or delivery schedules, not to mention extra work for the parts guy.

We seen this guy? Looks like a bit of a case of 2021 pricing to me. Lovely looking car, except for the bloody hole cut in the bumper to stick a tow bar through.... was very happy to get my Mtech with a virgin rear bumper 🤣 https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/325i/listing/5346451388

I got one of them adapters when doing mine, can't remember where I got it from but looks identical. Paired it up with some ancient, fairly low profile trolley jack I borrowed off a mate, but that's not the point. The whole thing ended up being too damn fiddly to use... Trouble I ran into was, even with the car raised to the max height allowable by the jack stands, the combined height of the trolley jack and the adapter was such that even lowered all the way, the transmission was left wedged in the transmission tunnel with no way of wheeling it out. It then became a whole new mission lifting up the transmission while trying to slide out the trolley jack from underneath. In hindsight, would have been much easier without that adapter, either resting the rear of the transmission directly on the saddle or a wider block of timber and manhandling the bellhousing end. Unless you've got some extra tall jack stands, I honestly wouldn't bother. Only ever "used" that adapter once and now it's essentially scrap metal on the shelf somewhere.

I don't use google at all so can't speak for its AI (assuming that's google). But with other search engines the AI will usually provide links to where it got the source information from that it used to generate the overview. If the opinions are honest and from real experience then it doesn't seem reasonable to remove them for the sake of AI. There should be links for people to validate the source information and form their own opinion. But I can see how it would suck to see something like that as a business showing up from AI. Especially if that experience came from a specific shop.
