So was thinking last night and have mentioned i will be keeping the touring factory but would like abit more grunt as it is alot heavier than the sedan and you do notice it in the power department. SO what you guys think of this its a m60b44 with a jag xjr eaton m112 supercharger set up modded to fit. looks so clean and meant to fit in.

Yes, it both looks and feels better. I can see why Evo top hats are recommended for any E36 suspension setup (castor plates aside). For the sake of ~$300 for all of the ancillary bits it's a very good upgrade and I've not over capitalised. I've now done the entire cooling system and suspension for less than $600 which I'm very happy with. And it's all miles and wear and tear that's not going onto the M3, that's the real purpose.

    So, you’re saying there’s a chance?

Go for something like this - considered one of, if not, the best https://avinusa.com/10-25-bmw-1-series-e81-e82-e87-e88-multimedia-navigation-system.html

Sweet as. Its a nice upgrade path from stock suspension. I found it when I did my 325i v8 to m3 evo stuff, big differences you can appreciate. Even looks better from the side with increased front axle caster, quite a visual change!

Keep with all my other spares for the meantime mate. It’ll go back on the car in the future no doubt.

e60: Yesterday saw a report from panel shop : more damage found in rear bumper, previous repair poorly executed (plastic welded but filler cracking, poorly adhered and heavy). "Yep, please do it right" (which is additional scope and comes out of my pocket, not insurance). So I dropped by for a squizz. Seems the bumper was originally black, had a few layers of paint on it. It's well on it's way to looking great. They've worked their magic on the dent in the guard where it meets the bumper, metal-finished back, appears no filler required. "The dark arts".

As I did when suggesting the only thing we saw in a clothes shop that would look good on my wife was the sales assistant...?

Factory fitted... option S666... Thanks to @DC3 I'm updating a register of all e39 M5's in NZ, a very interesting exercise. There is at least one other Silverstone alive in NZ, one deceased. A ton of number plate changes... very few on original plates.. and heaps of garden variety carbon blacks
