211,000 km loving the Xenons. Worth every dollar. Couldn't resist a quick pic on the way to work this week.

Old one was touching our heads on our way home from shopping on sunday so we decided to stop at spotlight and take a look at some materials.... In the end it wasnt my decision so we went home with a hugely marked down piece of fake white fur, approx 1.15x1.5m for $15, adding the price of 2 cans of spray adhesive and the whole job cost about $40. It looks kind of odd... but it feels amazing ?. The whole job took maybe 2.5 - 3 hours, a lot of that time was spent working out how to take interior apart and actually get the fiberglass out of the car in 1 piece.

VERY dodgy way to get a 'certed' car, and certainly won't hold up under scrutiny. Better to throw the cert plate away and start again IMO.

e60: collected car from panel shop. repair completed. it's a wet day; the colour match is very good, paint finish looks great - as far as I can see through the raindrops. Flat battery on collection. Got a jump start from the panel shop. Found I had no cluster. No gauges, no tell-tales, no intermittent auto-wipe. The wipers and indicators still worked - just no click or lights. Took it for a drive to charge the battery, returned to the panel shop. We were taken to Page European; 15 min power-off reset. All is good now. It's good to have it back. Looking forward to seeing it on a dry day in the light.

Come on mate, this is a common malady that doesn't discriminate! BMW engine = oil leaks.

And their front of office is straight out of the 80's! Doesn't seem to affect the powdercoating though!

I don't mind executing panning shots of your car while you drive up and down the road; we just need to sort out a mutually convenient time, and preferably a cloudy day

Finally made it to a WLG BMW Club meet. Thanks @andyb184 for driving while I figured out my panning settings.
