Here is my 2018 M3 Comp. It’s my daily driver and I’m impressed with it as an all rounder. Big boot, comfortable in soft modes, 9lt/100 on long trips, (gets very thirsty when boosting though) great seats, sounds. I’ve added CarPlay and the GTS/CS DCT, EDC, steering and diff software, which I would definitely recommend. A boot luggage hook and PSS* tyres…

Have one in my M3 and compact, painted them black since I don't like the pink. Never had issues passing wof.

I haven't had issues personally but I think it might be subjective to a particular WoF inspector. It got picked up when I went for cert recently so now it's fully certified for it, but I also passed a WoF before that without issues right after the engine swap a year ago. I've also read some reports of some people even failing cert with them in so... Not sure what to make of it. I guess you could just paint it silver before installing to keep it stealth, or install with the original heat shield thingy over it, should be fine.

Just went through this saga with the e30 and decided a new tank was easier. Aftermarket fuel tank sourced from https://www.schmiedmann.com/ did the trick. Arrived in just over a week. Replaced the fuel pump and filter whilst in there. It’s also recommended to clean the fuel injector screens, or replace. Car is running like clockwork again.

Not sure if you are referring to the cybertruck or the i5 there, but in terms of the i5 then I would argue that it depends on your definition of enjoyment. If throwing it through the twisties with the engine roaring is your idea of enjoyable, then yeah the i5 is not for you. However, if driving from Auckland to Napier in serene comfort at not inconsiderable speed (once over the ooh how many kms range can I get moment) with wife, kids and a bootfull of week-end stuff and getting out at the other end four and a half hours later not feeling it is more up your street then I would suggest you give it a try. It also performed pretty well driving over the lumps and bumps of coarse chip in South Island as well.
