One Man's Crusade Against The Personalised Plates Monopoly
oscar90 replied to bravo's topic in General Discussion
done the internet petition, and quite happy to do another one...plate prices are outrageous from new -
sounds like its coming along nicely!, glad you could do all the rust yourself! saves abit of money, i've just sent my E30 in because some was beyond abit of TLC,
-
not urgent just trying to get things orginised instead of a mad rush in a few months,
-
quick update went in and they could book me in today! so in a weeks time all the rear and windscreen should be rust free!
-
Update, not much been happening, ive been pretty slack tbh, got pretty much all the rust i can in the boot, and painted it, so its looking 1 000,000 times better already! Got a quote from Hollands panel beaters out here in Rolleston for the major rust just recently: - Got to have the bottoms of the left and right rear gaurds pretty much re done , - A rough quote for the windscreen of $450 but because they cant see how bad that could sky rocket or go down, hoping for the later - Right front door, which i've rust killed since, still going to need work All up looking at $750...hopefully it stays close to that!! , and will be booked in in the next 2 weeks hopefully!!! Once all thats done its ALOT closer to being ready for re vin tests etc Pics below are whats getting repaired,
-
when are these gonna be up for sale?
-
bump...anything? .... hmm looks like ill have to get some of those E30 rims off zenetti at some stage
-
any idea on postage? abit id expect?
-
as title says i want some steelies/rims for an 86 E30, can be steel rims, extremely curbed alloys, whatever, i dont care, aslong as theyll keep the car mobile and hold pressure (no spacer savers) Dont need tyres, i can get them for free The cheaper the better, can pay cash or beer, Free is preferable though haha! also currently have 16 inch rohs 4x100 with michellens and direzzas, heeeeaaaps of tread but they rub on gaurds so wrong offset i guess, will be up for sale soon if anyones intrested in a deal with them or something Cheers

ahhh memories i'd had my E36 about 5 hours, went upto a corner near stanmore road, about 7 cars at the intersection in the wet and bam! off she went, missed the cars, missed the gutter and forgot that reverse was the opposite to my jappa's so kept thinking id buggered the car becuase reverse wasnt where i was used to haha, very shameful! learnt my lesson VERY quickly (was rather interested in the whole drifting thing and thought, hey, heres an opportunity...big mistake)
