Was one of mine. Brought as an auto parts car, but was to good to wreck. So converted it to manuel. Motor was built up with e21 head and the cam. Carbs left over from another 02 I still have. Had it as a daily for years. Went and stopped great. Good to see it again. Dosent look like it had much done to it since I moved it on in 2008. Values seem to moving up. Could be worth finishing off my last remaining one.

E30 Control arm bushes, Rear numberplate lights, brakepads
PJWO replied to sascha's topic in Want to buy
Hi I do SuperPro Bushes. I can also do brake pads. I would recommend Roadhouse. They are from Europe and work well with BMW brake system. -
Hi I have been getting a few PM's and emails from both the series guys and you roadies about doing a package like this. So here you go... Remove that slop from your E30's front Suspension and steering and make it steer and handle like it should! Kit Consists of all new parts including, Left and Right lower arms 2x Rack ends 2x Tie Rod ends 1x Urethane control arm bush kit This comes to over $680 retail. But because I know none of you guys pay retail... I'll do it all for $530. Choice of CAB's offset, straight or offset hard race. Can sell individual components. Ta. Paul Interpart [email protected]

Thanks Oli Now also HERE. -
You got a motor for it fox? It's at Pages in Paraparumu. I can go look this week.
-
It may have gone to Ozzie but it's still a Kiwi owner It sold for a fair price. It made the 325 look overpriced. And yes I've known of it existence for many years. It even got used to trundle down to the shops a few years ago I don't think the 325 is worth 145K. Not when theres Grp A M3 hanging around
-
OK let me throw a spanner in the works. Whats this worth? Missing JPS car. Hidden in Welly since 1992!! Arguably the first M3 to ever win a race. (28/3/1987!) Raced Bathurst 87 to 4th. Just been brought by the man who raced it in 1987 Ohh and lost to NZ, gone back to Aussie
-
Jon here you go. Found this the other night brought back some memories. I was standing on Cable st. next to the barrier with no fence!! watching Cossies and M3's batlling it out all day in a round of the World Touring car champs!! Really was the begining for me. Went out and brought a 2002 after that to go racing.

Is there any at Petone branch? would be keen to check them out.
-
Thanks, not my car. Built for friend/sponsor after I killed his M20 2.7 on the track. After doing maths std M54 3.0 power was more economic than building M20 3.0 to the same HP.

Ha ha Glenn time to come clean on one of those projects Project thread and photos to come when time allows For now the edited highlights of what I feel is the ultimate 10K E30 motor Cars is 1986 Tech 1 M325i Motor M54B30 done 5K yes 5,000kms standard bar Oil pump upgrade and sump Link G4 extreme with sequential injection and electronic throttle and most factory sensors. Custom equal length headers as in the pic above. Twin 2 ¼†custom exhaust into flow master twin in twin out back box. ZF310 E36 M3 gearbox and up rated clutch with custom flywheel. Tricked up LSD (haven’t settled on final ratio still testing) Koni adjustable suspension all round As for performance… Revving to just 6,500 the motor produces twice the power of my series car and the torque is massive We have had the car out to Manfeild twice. Once in the dry for a shake down and once racing in the wet where it proved to quite the straight line weapon putting car lengths on various V8 race cars. Driving the car on the street (yes still road legal) is like driving grandma's 316 until you give it half throttle then all hell breaks loose. The e throttle and link allows for the fine tuning that a cable throttle can't. Now you know why I’ve been so quite on here… Thats just one the projects on the go more to come

Gee Nath do you know somebody that's done that Ohh and while the M54 was cheapish the total conversion was a little more than $10k but the result is stunning Melted 888's anyone
-
Clearly my son you are wrong. It is what you said it ain't. Maybe there's no money left in shrimps?

HB you old fart see ya at HD.

I saw BK35033 out in Porirua yesterday she's getting a new clutch. This one has seen better days (would make a good race car). It has an interesting history between Auckland and Wellington. The workshop say it's a bit of a "Cristine" with more than one of it's owners ending up in jail!!
-
Yep it was them. Strange thing was they made a bunch in the new black urethane and packaging and then decided that was it. Yes, Noltec product was always good. Problem is the range is getting smaller and smaller. They used to make awesome adjustable/fixed front/rear strut/shock mounts but alas no more.
-
Yes Cam I have. Whiteline in there clean up of Noltec destroyed the mold for the subframe bushes. Evidently there was no demand Nothing can happen on the subframe problem till the new year (product mangers on holiday etc) however the rest of the bushes are available ex stock. I do not recommend the eccentric trailing arm bushes. I'm having trouble keeping them in alignment on the race car (wheel align and an hour resetting bushes after every meeting). Could be OK on a road car but you will only know they have moved when your rear tyre is cut out! If you want adjustable rear trailing arms on an E30 I strongly suggest you use a slotted rear subframe kit.

Not quite correct. ASL bring in their own rotors as do ADL etc. BnT are regarded as the official supplier of Brembo's after market replacement product. Brembo as a group is made up of many manufactures in Europe and now Asia. Did you know Brembo own AP? What it means unless you specifically are looking for a performance/race package most of rotors regardless of the name on the box are going to very similar if not the same product.

Hi all, Can give you an Idea of prices for locally supplied product. Rear trailing arm Kit 4 Bushes Super Pro $70.00 Incl GST Subframe bush Kit (both sides) 120.00 Incl. BUT... Here we have a problem. The Aussies who make this kit have decided in there wisdom that E30's no longer roam the road so they chucked out the mold!!! I have a back order outstanding with them. They are looking at making a new mold (cross fingers). Also can do offset Castor arm bush with comfort hole (not recommended for racing) $120.00 Race spec (No Comfort hole) 80A hardness offset $140.00 including GST Diff Bush $140 incl these are made up locally exchange basis. Paul.
