  1. They're sold in pairs as far as I know. Talk to Grant.
  2. Try George Stock Ltd in Mt Wellington, they're doing a deal on some bushes for the E30 cars, talk to Grant Scheuber 09 270 7214. They have the lower rear control arm bushes, the sway bar bushes and the rear trailing arm bushes.

Damn, I never got any, am I missing out?
  4. ISBN for the 3 series E30 Bentley is 0-8376-0325-0 Bentley stock No. B390.
  5. Yeah, they depend a lot on weight, I've just bought my boss kit from there, post $22 NZ. Total cost $75 NZ. Cheers.
  6. Check these out, in kms http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tachofolie-BMW-316-3...bayphotohosting Quite often you're right Andy, so I use http://www.ebay.co.uk/ to start, better post rates normally, and good selection as well.

  8. Hey Andy, they're no good for your racecar? You need seats that'll take a 5 point harness.
  9. Him and Jim Richards, my 2 local legends, almost thought of him as a NZer sometimes. His memories will endure. Respect.
  10. E30 series cars must have a heater, but if only your car, it doesn't need a heater.

    leaky floor

Quickest way if you don't mind losing your heater is to bypass the heater altogether. Open your bonnet and find where the 2 pipes go thru the firewall to the heater, disconnect them both and join them with a small piece of pipe with clamps. No more leaks in the car from the heater.
  12. Agree with Graeme re. getting head tested, if not cracked then get it skimmed and refit with a new gasket and bolts and off you go till next time. If head is cracked and Kerry's M50b20 is a straight swap (I don't know if it is) then that's the way I'd go. A good second hand head will probably cost more than the motor, and it will certainly cost more to get your head welded etc if it is cracked.
  13. Very very nice, how'd you do your shadow lining?

Are you losing water from your radiator, if not then it's probably not your heater. If your console's off then start the car and get it hot, turn the heater on and look for any signs of water around that area. Otherwise if it's the front passengers side I'd still be looking around the bulkhead behind the glovebox area.

    Jungle Part 4

Better off throwing your cash at the suspension, shocks and springs to help with body roll.
  18. No, the dash is ok left there, take the glovebox off, it's only a couple of screws, and feel around behind it, next to where the wiring loom comes thru from the fuse box. If it's wet there you can bet it's started rusting next to the loom hole, and needs patching there. Pull the carpet back from the edge of the hole on the door side of the loom, it will be obvious if you have a problem there.
  19. Hi, after an E30 boss kit for my racer, anyone got one for sale? Cheers.

    My 540i

Is this the one which sold for $9500? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=67799509 Be a nice little profit?
  21. I'm interested. Be good if it had some kind of shocking device hooked up into the drivers seat, so when my teenagers go hooning in my car they get a shock, or if it's stolen you could give them a real belt!
  22. I'd say go with 35's unless you can afford to throw them away when told they're too dark?
  23. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-68739228.htm Wonder if it'll get any interest this time?
  24. Welcome, I certainly feel better now.
  25. Agree with Jazz, BMW's like family, can do no wrong, this is our family forum, we occasionally knock the neighbours, but still have a beer with them, just got to live with it I guess.
