The guys who use them say they're better, and they last well as well. From memory, the mintex are quite fast wearing.

Ashkan, pm this guy, DH_DH, for brake pads, he supplies some of the front Series cars, and we run them in Steve's E30 M54B30, very good pads. See here, http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=32087

Nothing wrong with racing a Taxi.

Clutch plate looks fine, slave cylinder just needs the rod pushed back in, it will go, just push it firmly, make sure you don't squirt the fluid all over yourself.

Could be either William, you'll need to look.

In my experience with dyno figures, Gavin's is at the lower readout end rather than the higher one. I'll say one thing for Gavin, and that's that he's fairly conservative when it comes to figures and tuning. You'll end up with a very drive-able car which won't explode at the first track day, but will perform as well as he can make it, and the printout will be what it is, he doesn't doctor dyno figures for the sake of impressing people.

Hi Ben, I also doubt you can just add all those bits up on top of each other, they are all dependent on each other and need to be in the right ratios to work properly. I'd love to see what you can get and would also have gone this way if the engine we used hadn't turned up. My guess would be in the 250 region for rwhp, but let us know what you do, that's what the forum is for, keeps us all interested.

I'd suggest the money would be much better spent on Shocks and springs to start with also.

Large sway bars are over rated imho.

Happy Birthday Shuey, have a red or 2, see you at Hampton.

The race car has had a new rear subframe installed, all new bushes etc, also has the dogleg box removed and a std E34 overdrive manual fitted. Had to change the lsd from a 3.45 to a 4.10 to compensate for the gearbox change as well. It's all ready for the last round at Hampton now, then it goes on the market, $18,000 if anyone's interested. It has started and finished all races this year. I'll start another project thread on the new car with the turbo in the next few weeks as the build starts.

The vehicle code HD12 is for the manual 3.5 E34, it is part of the 5 series. You will need to find a dealer to get all the options.
