  1. The one I stripped had a normal M20 flywheel.
  2. Andy, looks like one I pulled from an early E28 520, M20. I believe the early ones of these had these, they're quite a bit bigger than the later M20 starters, but fit fine, mine also had tabs.
  3. Set up a cold air box for your std filter and you'll still get as good performance as a pod. It's not the pod which makes it go better, it's the amount and temp of air.
  4. Have seen some proper tests done, and no gains with anything over the std box with a K&N filter inside. In saying that, I do like the extra induction sound.
  5. If your pricing is close I'd think they're good value. By the time you buy the second hand bits and new links and bushes you may not be a lot cheaper?
  6. The vert has the biggest std fronts at 21mm, that burnt one in palmy may still be available? The biggest rears are the 14.5 ones from mtechs and 325s and some 320s.
  7. If that price is right with links and bushes I'd grab them.
  8. ps, if second hand, get new bushes and links.
  9. For anything other than serious track work, the std 325 stuff is more than sufficient. Find a 20mm front and 14mm back, the back should come with the fittings if you get second hand, ask for them.

I think you're pretty much right for a quick sale, and agree that the last one was an anomally
  11. Det in touch with Hotwire, Grant, on the forum, he does this and has them already recoed and checked.
  12. Same can be said for the E24 and E34 M cars, and this one, as it's a SA one, only has the M88 engine.
  13. Trouble is that E24 and E34 M5 and M6' are only fetching 16 to 18k, so it doesn't justify more than that I don't think.
  14. Lovely car, but as Graham says, IMHO about $8000 overpriced going on overseas prices. Would seriously look at this if it was quite a bit cheaper, I E28s.
  15. BMW Race Series drivers day, cheap day put on by the Series for the series drivers. Non competitive day for fun and rides. May be a chance for a ride if you turn up, but no promises, I have a seat and gear for the Taxi. Nothing to do with the BMWCC AGM which is next week.
  16. Thought we did that at Taupo, didn't make too much difference? Will have a passengers in the Taxi.
  17. Who's coming, and should we be offering anybody rides at all?
  18. Thanks for all the nice words boys, had a quiet day, getting ready for a big weekend. See a lot of you at the track on Sunday I hope?
