A guy was playing golf one day and he got lost. He saw a lady up ahead of him and went to her and said "Can you please help me, I don't know what hole I'm on." She told him "You are one hole behind me. I'm on 7; you're on 6." He thanked her and continued playing golf. On the back nine he got lost again. He saw the same lady and went to her again kind of embarrassed. "I'm sorry to bother you again but I'm lost again, can you please tell me what hole I'm on." She told him "You are one hole behind me. I'm on 14; you are on 13." Again he thanked her and continued playing golf. When he finished he saw her in the clubhouse. He went up to her and asked if he could buy her a drink for helping him out. She accepted. As they were drinking and talking he asked her what she did for a living. "I'm in sales." He replied "no kidding so am I. What do you sell?" She said it's too embarrassing to tell. But after he kept pleading to know what she sold she said she'd tell him if he promised not to laugh. He promised. She said, "I sell tampons". He immediately fell to the floor laughing hysterically. She said, "You promised you wouldn't laugh". He replied "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help it. I sell toilet paper. I'm still one hole behind you."

Yes... I totally agree...as I said before.....very impressed with the difference and half the cost of OEM replacement I would now recommend fitting this set up in future rather than using OEM mass flywheel. Maybe we could organise a group buy if others are interested ?? BTW Ance...thanks for the nice comments Cheers Glenn

When trying to buy second hand...be WARNED.....the gearbox part numbers must be exactly the same for it to work with the software in the vehicle, which cannot be changed. Its all intergrated on the can bus line and depends on what options the car comes with. You will need to supply exact, accurate part numbers

We have just completed the installation of a lightened flywheel and clutch kit supplied by the above company for one of our members on here for his E46 320I. I must say I'm impressed. The engine feels so much more responsive and revs more freely. The modification to the clutch pressure release valve also works a treat too. The owner will probably post on here later. I would have to agree with you there Johno So much missinformation is often given and comments like "my toyota used to do that" or "my 4wd does that" WTF !! why even make a comment like that?? If we are talking BMW's, you cant compare with other makes. And comments like " I dont know....but" why even post comments like that. If you don't know, and can't help, dont type !!. If I don't know something, I research it or ask the appropriate people who can give the right proffessional advice. And there are a few on here that are very helpful in their particular field and very knowledgeable too. EO2ndR (End of second rant) and BTW... I have been known to be wrong as well (foot in mouth syndrome)

In sports mode 5th gear does not select unless you hit the rev limiter. Are you sure the sports select switch is switching ?? It may be physicaly moving, but not switching. Call in and I'll check it, will need to scan live data and fault memory. BTW Dave..we changed the oil & filter and used the correct oil for this trans. Give me a call Ollie. Disconnecting the battery or doing a battery reset probably wont do anything

His problem wasnt " my engine after run out of water" It was my "my engine after I ran into the water with my E46 320 I and hydraulic'd it" and then didnt take the RIGHT advice and then everything turned to sh*t.

Undo the filler tube nut if it doesnt have a drain plug. In theory you should take the pan off and change the filter too.

Yes it is a late 70's or early 80's 3.8 E type. And I dont think SGBOY "KEYMAN" owns one or has ever owned one of these. Looks like it suffered a carburettor fire (common problem) with these older boat anchors Showing my age here I think

Have I read this wrong. Nowhere could I find any offer of discounts on oil supply from any distributor ?? Or are they just supplying stickers to make your cars look good ??

One fault that cannot be sorted because it is a software issue which BMW has not, and will not sort out is: When driving into a corner or down hill in drive, if you touch the brake pedal more than once, it will change down a gear. Some people dont like this feature, but BMW wont fix it.
