Thanks Will... but that wont work....cant swap the 318 TI axles into it. Circlip and seal positions are wrong and TI's run smaller CV joints on the axles. You can swap them around in E30's because the flange spacings and bolt sizes are the same. 318 TI's are different.....we tried today

Try tightening the 13mm arm nut with the wipers in the parked position

Was it a new or 2nd hand starter ????? these do give problems

The correct oil is a full synthetic 75W90....LSD oil is fine in an open diff As for the noise........it probably is the diff..... pinion bearings ??? Drive it on a hoist and listen with a stethiscope... check axle bearings too...the same way

Real good guy & knows his stuff....did my car for me If you get 2nd hand Bilsteins, Chris @ Suspension tech can reco them & mod them to suit for you. I was toying with the idea of throwing a BBQ & few beers one saturday for you guys if y'r interested. To make it more interesting I am going to try and get a brand new BMW for you all to look over and underneath. So you can actually have a look at all the new technology. No driving tho. You dont need a specific BMW battery.....just a Euro style ( for mounting )....should be a Din55 or Din65
