  1. I bought these in case I picked up a set of 15' weaves with no tyres. In the end I got near new tyres with the weaves and cant be bothered having these sit around until I need them. I fancy a set of lower springs instead Directional tyres in excellent condition, no cuts or knicks and without having anything more accurate than a kids ruler I reckon they have at least 6-7 mm of tread all over. Ill stick up a photo if anyone doesnt know what a tyre looks like or if a buyer wants to verify the condition before making an offer. Im wanting $250 for the four of them and dont forget Dutchy can probably help to get them to most places in the country so shipping shouldnt be a problem. Ive been asked by a few people for photos, so here they are....
  2. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, they f*&(ing own the Bayern's.
  3. Ive lost count of the amount of times Ive bought OEM only to find the BMW logo and part number stamped on it.
  4. Whats the tyre size at the moment Nathan ? I agree with the others, Borbets need a little stretch and a lower rear for sure. Weaves for me would look better with the Alpina kit too.
  5. You kids complaining about the government needing to get onto more serious things need to learn that being in government isnt about doing whats best for the country and tackling the truelly big issues. Its about getting on the front page, being seen on the tv, getting people to mention your name and the only way to do that is to shout about the things people 'concieve' to be the big issues. You talk to anyone in a pub about how this government is going to handle ACC and the response will be 'meh'. You ask the same person about how to handle boy racers and you wont be able to stop them talking. As for the new laws, Im not personally affected by hoons screaming around my house, but I have been in the past, so all I can say is anything that gets these c*cks off the street is fine with me.
  6. 10% bimmersport discount too I believe

    European Contiki

Do you want to booze and shag your way round Europe only seeing the inside of a coach ? Or do you want to actually see the cities and spend some time in each one ? I wouldnt do a Contiki if you paid me. Get yourself to one of the main cities in Germany, buy a left-hooker e32 off ebay for peanuts and cruise the continent at your leisure. Or just get a rail card and do it that way. When you get to where your going, bowl into the local tourist information centre and get them to sort out some accomodation, they know most of the hotel owners and will sort you out for decent price. We did it in Paris, Barca, Hamburg, Luxembourg, Venice, Rome, Copenhagen, Maastricht, Den Haag etc and never had a problem. But then we werent aiming to be there for Octoberfest, you might need to book something for that ! I know lots of people who have been on tiki tours....kiwi's obviously....and theyve loved them. But ask them were they went to and what they actually saw when they got there and they saw nothing other than the usual tourist crap where they had a couple of hours to leg it round before getting back on the coach and back on the lager. Driving is easy around Europe, you can easily get between the main cities in a day or less (8 hours from London to Amsterdam including lots of stops for the kids for example) and you can stay where you want for aslong as you want.
  8. I feel like Im in an episode of Jerry Springer all of a sudden. Im sure alot of us have been there and done that. The point has been made (several times over) but we dont need to ram it down his throat. Lets get back to the rangi $9 volvo lip. Have a mentioned Ive got a nice new one coming from Germany now
  9. Congrats Dylan. if you really need to sell then you really need to sell, but if there is a way to keep hold of something like your M3 then you'd be mad not to try it.
  10. Brook, Im all for you trying to raise some cash but if you want an auction get onto TM, come on man youve been around long enough to know the rules by now. Already this thread is a page long and its turned into a chatroom. [e] sorry meant to say. If you get your act together and want to put up either prices or auction links PM me and Ill gladly open the thread again.
  11. I seriously doubt that seeing as we cant even get people to come out for a pint on a Thursday night !
  12. TechI or II and where in the country are you ?
  13. Well ultimately all your doing is putting the cover from a sedan seat onto the frame (or at least the frame base) of a coupe seat. Unless Ive read the original post incorrectly.Anyway, once youve taken a seat of each apart its hardly rocket science to swap over the relevant bits and put them back together again.
  14. I disagree with your first point but agree with the second Its all about patience if your leather is really stuffed. I had an e32 with horrific leather. Badly cracked, stiff as a board, shiny like it had been painted with laquer but three months of using Liquid Leather each month and absolutely going to town with both the cleaner and conditioner over an entire weekend each time left me with seats that were almost new again. I didnt use liquid shoe polish but the traditional Kiwi with a rag to put the tiniest amount on any remaining splits to just turn the grey to black and it worked a treat.
  15. That cool Andrew, but I can find the following threads.... Ryan's: E36 Leather Clean Braeden's: Pacer Car Cleaning Products XescuY's: Best leather treatment mackt's: Leather makeover e39 All on the first page (of the search results) and all talking about using a range of different products. There are plenty more of the following pages too. Im not picking on you Just trying to point out that the search engine doesnt necessarily deserve the flack it gets. You just have to be smart about what you search for thats all. Cheers
  16. Now here is a subject no-one can complain about the Bimmersport search engine ! Have a search for "leather clean" Andrew and you'll find lots of threads on this. Ive always talked about Liquid Leather and personally wouldnt use anything else but there are other options out there.
  17. My god we have some grumpy people at the moment. Sure there have been several posts, but at least the man is doing something positive with his car. Who cares how many times he asks what people think? Thats half the point of this forum. Anyway back to the wheels. Im sort of with Simon. If they were something special (but that style) then maybe Id be more swayed, but they do look a little plain.
  18. Ive so far found three for sale whilst having a leisurely surf on TM this evening. Add to that mine from a couple of months ago and another which sold just weeks before mine and thats five on the market in the last couple of month of the 15 or so that are known to still be around. Whats the story ? Are people just trying to cash in or could this simply be people getting them out of the garage after a long winter and looking to sell for the summer ?
  19. Nothing gets passed Hong Kong Phooey Ray I would think its fair to say you should be receiving a phone call from Junkers on Monday morning mate.
  20. I spy with my little eye something beginning with 17' style 32's At least I think they are 17's
  21. You need those Hartge rims on TM to finish it off Oli
