Remind me, what's FTW again.FYI, it was only 12 months ago that Karl Shewes (of drifting fame) was round at my house drooling over my nearly finished AE86 race car. Agreed, 39 is really, really old if you're going to die tomorrow. My 8 year old son is right into his cars. Hopefully the Edirty will be ready for him at 15 when he gets on the road.! Cheers guys

Coulda replaced the badge first too!

I do all the time, just put a bit of black insulation tape over the light sensor in the Territory. They turn off automatically when I lock it.The Norwegians have a 'lights on all the time' law.

Live on the shore, work on the shore (3 mins from home). Avoid Tamaki Dv like the plague when it's sunny. Too many ricers for my liking. The other "Old Fart"

How do you do that?

Wasn't a huge major or anything, just thought it wasn't that appropriate. Maybe I'm turning into a grumpy old man at the age of 39. ........Cool, I can't wait to really piss people off when I'm really old!

Was at the laser light show at Smales Farm in Takapuna last night with the kids when this E36 came in making all sorts of noise, practising his race starts etc, etc. He had "Shalow" on the plate which summed him up pretty well I thought. Not to sound like an old fart coming down on the "boy racer", (this one was riced up), but if you know the guy, or it's you, keep it to the track and not in a place where there are plenty of families around with young children. Santa had just arrived and my 4 year old was going nuts, so I had enough trouble keeping him under control without you around. I've done some dumb things on the road in my time, and I'll be the first to admit it, but it was generally when there was no one else around and the chances of anyone getting hurt were pretty low. Those that know me would hopefully class me as pretty tolerant. Anyway, that's my rant for the day. Have a good Chrissy everyone and see you in the new year. Jocko

Fantastic, wish I had that sort of whit/wit/what?

BMW will apparently do a set of brand new 15" for $1k. Ernst knows about it.

Can't say I personally like the blue interior.

Crack me up, from a skinny white guy.

Legend, I assume that when he was holding up 4 fingers, it meant he was in 4th gear doing the big power slide. Sensational.

Don't know if I approve or not, the scoop has me strangely turned on! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-75734969.htm

Bought it off this really honest looking bloke called Gus, and only had 12,000kms on the clock!
-
It looks as if that's what Gus did with mine, some areas of cream on the edges. Any comment Gus?

I see PJ Johnson didn't make it past day 1 today. A bit better than last year I suppose, when he didn't even make the start! My mate saw it on the shakedown and said it sounded really bad, despite the "$20k to purchase + $5k per year" launch control.
-
Same, and he never shagged the doctor so I got bored!

Interesting comment. We bought my wifes 325 4 years ago with 160k kms on the clock. The box behaved like that then. Now done 190k kms, still does it and (cross fingers) box still works fine. The fact that we've had to replace/fix nearly every other bloody thing on the car is irelevant though! Air cond condensor Recover all seats New roof lining Front A arms Exhaust Rear wheel bearings Radiator Windows (all four) have just stopped working. Anyone have a fix? Driveline has been fantastic though. Never burns any oil. Cheers

Or an S14 into an Enzo?
