Yo, Can you swap you front and rear wheels without have to rebalance or align? My balance/alignment is good, but I have a bit of inner rear camber wear. So if i put the front wheels and tyures on the back would that be sweet? Cheers

I remember a NZ Performance Car DIY for intercooler sprayer. Just use a washer bottle and windscreen sprayer set up? Looks pretty sick bro!
-
It looks lower than that ^ now! What tyres are you running?

That car was parked at the back of a mechanic in Quay St for maybe 3 months? (Not sure why, could have been his, could have been waiting for fix?) It is in reasonable cosmetic condition, but dat price. :/
-
Is it Craig Baird? You'd be amazed. I put my cat in a TM listing for a dishwasher and it went nuts. "does she come with the dishwasher. What a nice pussy etc etc." Good price

will update this post with some - but it just looks 'stock' - matte black, slightly textured finish. (One of my mirrors was not body colour painted which is why I did them both). It is actually pretty easy to get a great finish. 2 tips; 1) keep the can warm (in hot water bath) 2) 5 or 6 light coats, wait 5-10 min in between to dry. Edit pics - sorry, it's hard to see much and was raining...

Plasti dipped my bumper trim and mirrors. Came out perfect, looks like new. 10/10 would dip again.

Hell BM only sell Ray's Wheels. hor hor hor. But seriously that is a useful PSA.

I got totally burned off at the lights on Gillies Ave by an identical new M5. (Wasn't even paying attention brah, could have totally taken you down...)

Thanks team. Purchased - if you bump I will post it.

OK Thanks - lack of replies and general info online points to the fact these are reliable appliances yes?

Hi, I am looking at 2006/2007 116i, 118i and 120i's. Obviously the 116i is down on power vs the other two; that's not a huge concern as none of these are 'fast'. However is the N46 engine more reliable or 'better' thank the 116's N45? I have heard of cam chain slip - is that more an issue with one either motor? Would love you input on any of these models please. Many thanks, Nick

SMG problems are over hyped. The aesthetics of that particular car are not to every one's taste. If its your first BMW and you want decent resale, stick to stock models with less quirks.
-
If any one knows of, or has, a 116i, 118i or 120i I would be interested in further details. Please PM me. Cheers Nick

21.) "Would you take $5k, cash?" (Without having seen it)

FWIW I park in the same building as this and noticed it after the 'bump'. It looked like it was very minor and not much more than broken trim. It is pretty tidy and looks as good as the pics. Cosmetically it looks good.

Yeah I heard that its sold out some places. Mighty Ape looks like you can order. My history is SNES > PS1 > PS2 > Wii > Xbox360 > PS3, and I have to say going from Xbox to PS3 was a big downgrade for me. (Xbox controller is far superior especially for racing games, you can't listen to music on PS3 while gaming, updates are sickeing on PS3, the friends system is far better on Xbox) I think a lot of people automatically go PSx becuase they had the previous one. I admit it's a bit of a coin flip, but a few things edge the XBONE to #1 for me. Also, we want a BimmerSport Forza lobby right guys?
-
Wow Sony has done well to stop you guys finding out you have to pay for online
-
You have to pay for psn nowI have been an PS fan since '95 but the xbone controller is far superior I did like drive club though. Gt6 looked meh. Forza sound and rumble was great AMA
-
Any early adopters? I was thinking PS4, but now I have flip flopped and am close to an Xbone pre order, (if only we got the Forza bundle like EU). Xbone -TV passthrough -better controller (IMO) -able to load games to HDD (suprisingly a big deal not having to get up to change games) -Forza is the best car game (well based on F3 vs GT5) What do you nerds reckon?

I learnt from Karl Pilkinton that it is often caused by not drinking enough water. I google image searched kidney stones once - I drink a lot of water now...

First car I had (4 speed JDM - great at handbrakes - same as my friends red NZ new 5 speed in a straight line lol) [edit 1st car only]

I've seen that. "gotta be hot chick, gotta be hot chick..... no a nice looking Asian gentleman"
-
Yeah, I think I put that in? I ordered it from the UK. It was cheap. I think it made a worthwhile difference, didn't seem to cause any issues. If only for the raised limiter it was good. But I am a 'pod filter believer' so... Why not try get one from overseas that has proven results? (however that's probably a copy right?) Do it

Nothing to contribute, but I am also looking at 1 series and looking for any 'buyer's guide' info. Sans engine, they are all the same right?
