Hi, I am looking at 2006/2007 116i, 118i and 120i's. Obviously the 116i is down on power vs the other two; that's not a huge concern as none of these are 'fast'. However is the N46 engine more reliable or 'better' thank the 116's N45? I have heard of cam chain slip - is that more an issue with one either motor? Would love you input on any of these models please. Many thanks, Nick

SMG problems are over hyped. The aesthetics of that particular car are not to every one's taste. If its your first BMW and you want decent resale, stick to stock models with less quirks.

FWIW I park in the same building as this and noticed it after the 'bump'. It looked like it was very minor and not much more than broken trim. It is pretty tidy and looks as good as the pics. Cosmetically it looks good.

Yeah I heard that its sold out some places. Mighty Ape looks like you can order. My history is SNES > PS1 > PS2 > Wii > Xbox360 > PS3, and I have to say going from Xbox to PS3 was a big downgrade for me. (Xbox controller is far superior especially for racing games, you can't listen to music on PS3 while gaming, updates are sickeing on PS3, the friends system is far better on Xbox) I think a lot of people automatically go PSx becuase they had the previous one. I admit it's a bit of a coin flip, but a few things edge the XBONE to #1 for me. Also, we want a BimmerSport Forza lobby right guys?

Any early adopters? I was thinking PS4, but now I have flip flopped and am close to an Xbone pre order, (if only we got the Forza bundle like EU). Xbone -TV passthrough -better controller (IMO) -able to load games to HDD (suprisingly a big deal not having to get up to change games) -Forza is the best car game (well based on F3 vs GT5) What do you nerds reckon?

Can you get a 'metallic' silver finish powder coating though? (Like factory silver?) My 32s are powder coated. Agree it hides imperfections and has held up sweet. But the finish isn't glossy like factory silver.

That's helpful info mate. Not too sure on facelift vs non. Just cosmetic? Don't think I could be too fusy with that. Also facelifts seem quite a bit more expensive?

Thought BS would be the best place to ask as you all have the BMW yardstick as a comparison. Have any of you guys driven or owned one? How do they compare to say a 330ci? The Honda reliability and and 9000rpm is appealing, but FWD obviously not so great. I'd love to hear your feedback please. Cheers

Depot is very good although I miss the pork sliders. Good oysters if you into that. They validate your sky city parking and it makes it about $7. It's one of AKLs best if you ask me Edit: A sick white e90 wagon with a plate along the lines of 'static' - good because I would have been suspicious it's not.
