Just you. Out of interest, have you upgraded your speakers to fit the factory space? If so, what'd ya get? Car looks tidy, what else do you need from a stylely 'work-hack'?

Had a tree crash onto my e30, plus wind blew the plastic off the window with the broken glass - so I've got scratches and a broken window and a few wet seats. Nothing comparable to up North though!

Some bastard smashed the window on a car I'm doing up when I was away. So I need a replacement. I'm more then happy, well, I'd prefer it, if someone is hoarding E30 parts, for me to trade you with some E30 4Door glass in exchange for the LHS, or passenger piece. [Or for another part, I'm wreckin '89 4dr 320iM & '85 4dr 320iA] I'm in Auckland, more than happy to pick-up trade or a/h.

Why would a instrument cluster on a '85 323i's lights stop working on a 'replaced', unsure if replaced new, yet the speedo/tacho still work, but fuel is unaccurate... S.I batteries or a fuse was my guess, haven't been checked, anyone _know_ what it is?

A possible, but I'm doubtful, solution is your battery contacts need to be better, scuff them up, and ensure they're tight. Otherwise, probably a short in the wiring or a relay. An auto-sparky should diagnose within an hour + fix, $60 labour + extras if needed. For your seat, play with the levers, they have a setting where they can be high in the air, and then right down touching the ground almost. I _think_ you need to press down on a lever, and push down with your body also.

All those 'race cars' at a race track, yet, no racing? All that $$$ not being thrashed makes me cringe ;P

What do you mean by under the mat? You don't mean where people can put their feet on top of the amp, and call it under-floor-heating, right? Can't remember if its 4 or 2dr, but I don't recommend amps under seats in coupes, especially, as they can get kicked around, and all because you were to lazy to run an extra metre of cable. Why not run your iPod from your HU? Any iPod car charger/phone charger can work if you are prepared to cut the 'plug' bit and hard wire it into an accessory wire. Please tell me you have made it look all purdey and no wires are shown get and not rough with a plywood sub box, mismatched etc etc~!

I'd get an m3, convert to 4dr wagon, then 5 stud, huge slottled brakes, turbo the 4cyl, paint it black pearl, custom 18" 3piece BBS rims, top of the line custom coilover suspension, half cage, no audio, carbon mtech2 kit incl smoothed badges on boot bonnet in carbon also. Shaven locks, prehaps new handles, no tints, standard black leather, A/C, momo steering + SS + momo knob. Then make an identical version without cage, and add weight in the audio depot incl ps3 compact etc...

I don't have a diagram, can't be arsed taking a pic, but also check you havn't blown a fuse dude. Did you not just have to plug in the old wiring harness???

I was thinking something more realistic like stolen by aliens... You could quite comfortably start-up your own restoration co. with these cars and be booked out for the next century.
