Old man had one and so did my old boss, both 79's and both 3L manuals, awesome to drive but they BOTH used a lot of oil, think its something to do with that 3L engine. This is more me.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-149572141.htm mmmmm

I had a set of 18x8.5 mags on a 318iS with factory m-sport suspension all round, they tucked halfway down the tyre in the back and the fronts rubbed on the guards on some corners.
-
My old mans a bit of a porsche fiend. There's many many cars I'd rather have.. but I couldn't say no to an early 70's 911 chrome on black with some red leather..

220hp out of an n/a m42? someones chucked a lot of money at that!
-

Shiit the VFR400's are an alright ride! NC30? CBR600 next!

The turbo's I've seen on even smallish container ships in Tauranga (~1800-2000TEU) are roughly that size, the bigger ships (~4000-10,000TEU) would be a few times that size.

You're over the mount right? seen your car around a bit.
-
Cheers for that Kerry, The E46 swap sounds pretty decent, I'll read up on it.
-
On the topic of Ferrari's, was anyone involved with the national meet here in Tauranga over the weekend?
-
Cheers Kerry, Its my "weekend" driver at the moment. The M3 brakes swap sounds like the one, I'm not fussed about pretty shiny aftermarket drilled rotors and bright red callipers (although I wouldn't exactly say no to a nice set of wilwoods) as long as they do the job, and I'd rather stick with as many BMW parts as possible Would this be for the swap to M3 gear? If I was swapping to M3 bits I'd want to do a full swap including the master cylinder and not just bolt on a set of M3 callipers and rotors.

If you really want to try and be charged with GBH.. Should of seen the bastards face when I went and apologised to him in hospital.
-
Cheers for that, Is there going to be much of a usable improvement (hard street driving/track day) to be had from upgrading the callipers to an aftermarket item also (big money, i know)
-
$1800 installed here in Tauranga at the end of January, worth every penny. I'm definately a Koni fan now. Just wondering 3pedals, what would you recommend for a fast street brakes setup? with a view for further suspension upgrades and occasional trackdays. Currently running factory 328 stoppers.

My old driveway was worse than that! Gorgeous 3.0 Was it a bimmersport member selling the 3.0 coupe a while back?

***** got skillz

Looks good! until people start putting replica bodykits on their E36's..
-
All good, if I had of known I would have been keen! whats the next project on the agenda?
-
Hey Mark, this still for sale? I've seen this car around (end of last year) and thought it looked pretty tidy. sounded good too (met you at Logans and we got on the E30 chats for a while)
-
Sounds like quite a build! still going to be as noisy I hope? Last time I heard it run it sounded like the end of the world was coming real quick. Built a trailer and got that coupe swapped to the 5-speeder yet?
-
I've got an M42 with 112k out of an E36 318iS if you want it..
-
giving the e39 more power

If doing an M3 engine and box swap will be out of your price range then turbo'ing a 328 engine will be too. RB30/25DET hybrid would be the cheapest option, easiest way to build a 400hp engine for less than a grand. -
It's bad for me coz I never really feel hungover.. so the next day after drinking I don't feel any different than usual and don't even think about it.

250hp F20C in a 318iS! wow.
