5th form I did Maths, English, General Science, History, Geography and 6th form Classics 6th form I did Maths, English, Bio, Physics, History & Geography 7th form I did Statistics, English, Bio, History, Classics and Philosophy. So picking up all the english type credits was easy as..

Same here, I did it a year ahead though (should have been 7th form 2005, passed in 2004 a year early and left with level 1, 2, 3 and UE.)

I agree, you can get more credits by picking easier subjects, and look better than people like us that did the full version of subjects (and not communication english/math etc) The final scoring system (that goes on your Record of Learning and most likely ends up on your CV) should have a percentage score showing the amount of possible credits you've achieve (143/146 in your case) and some way of showing whether you took the full academic courses or bummed through doing art and communication subjects to stack on high credits without working hard..

Well if you reaallly wanted, I'd take one for the team and get some experience doing handbrake slides in a Triumph Herald..

I thought that was your idea! do it! If you set your rear view mirrors the right way whilst driving down marine parade, you don't have to worry about putting your neck out Kerry!

Sure is, guess they've got one hollow spoke!
-
So it just acts like a mild 4-wheel steering system?
-
Are we talking about a rubber seal here? or the actual plastic sheet below the windscreen? Coz mine is crumbling like crazy..

Well its legit to answer the questions with TXT abbreviations.. even in the english exams. So it's only a matter of time till they have to provide two sets of questions, a set in normal english and a set in TXT so that the average teenager can understand it. I give it a decade..

Should look sweet on that car. Yeh they don't seem to like selling spraypaint to people under the age of 18..
-
Sweet, definately look into turbo/supercharged M30!

It's probably easier to get uni entrance in NZ with NCEA than having a GCSE! I know plenty of people (myself included) who got UE in 5th form coz of mix and match level 1/2/3 subjects each year..

The first time I saw a set of these I spent a good 10 minutes looking for the air valve haha.
-
Yeh friggen awesome sound!
-
Yeh the SC12 wouldn't flow anywhere near enough to be worth the custom fabrication involved getting it to work. Do the M50 swap (talk to MrHamWallet about it)
-
Bahaha. It's still called UE too.. and It's easy to get, if you pass 5th form maths and 6th form english that's about all there is to it..
-
Depends on the options you choose as to how many credits you can get.. which friggen sucks coz it makes some people look better.. If someone gets 145/180 credits they'll still look better than me (it only shows the amount of credits on your R.O.L) who got 138/140 for 5th form, 118/122 in 6th form and 112/112 in 7th form..

Suure did, I know a lot of the girls who've finished 7th form this year coz I used to date one and a lot of them have been real close friends for aaages.I played 3 years for the boys 1st 15 and was in the junior 1st 11 until 5th form when I made the switch to Rugby.. Boys is a perfect school for someone who's both academically good and sporting as they tend to make a big fuss about their sports players and being good academically means all the teachers tend to treat you really well and generally let you get away with anything.. I enjoyed the school, although being the country's largest boys school (or 2nd largest?) it's a school of small groups that don't intermingle much, I was fairly sociable and got on with the jocks, geeks and muso's so It was fun.. Definately, all of my subjects were heading towards law and I'd organised and enrolled to do my LLB at Victoria (personal invite!) but about a month after I left school I had a complete change of heart, worked for a year and got involved with a part-time Bachelor of Management studies to Auckland via. correspondence.. much to everyones disgrace, But its something I feel more passionately about and something I'm finding more enjoyable. You're starting 7th form this year right? I found it much more enjoyable and satisfying than 6th form (and no it doesn't have anything to do with scoring any of the young female teachers that started that year..) Best of luck! hope your results were sweet!

Almost 100% sure you wouldn't fit a 19x9.5" wheel on unless you wanted to spend crazy money, and even then.. you couldn't get it to handle very succesfully. I have an 18x8.5" wheel and I definately wouldn't want to go any bigger without endangering my front guards and such.. and they've got tyres stretched on also..
-
Same size wheels I'm running on my car.. Have stretched on 225's which don't rub at all, although I'll go to 235's next time.. (maybe, as sometimes I can't fit my little finger between the sidewall of the tyre and the rear guard lip.. (no rubbing at all in the back though :s)

I did 5th form the first year that NCEA started and got excellence in everything except two merits in english.. The lucky bunch that got experimented on that year have some pretty crazy results, I got 138 credits that year.. then the next two years the excellences and merits were more balanced and I got 118/112 credits respectively..So as long as you're prepared to work hard throughout the year and rake in the internal credits, you don't have to stress too much about the exams and the exam credits will just be a bonus, I'd gained level 1 & level 2 before the exams both years.. So as long as you pick your right subjects (personally I'm a history, classics and english nut, I did 6 subjects every year..) and work hard during the year there's no reason why you can't have a really good mark..

Was there ever an ACTUAL law passed that tri-spokes are to be angle-grinded on sight? or was that just a dream.. Ryan's old wheels are the "Anne Frank" of the times?

Beats sending them through the top of the block followed by half a connecting rod.. marginally.. ..Long story involving an idiot I knew running 20lb on His factory RB30/25DET bitsa.

I'd like to increase the oversteer tendencies of the car a little just to have it feeling a bit more balance because at the moment it's very neutral/slight understeer, and my driving has always been in cars which have either a lot of oversteer (push it too hard out of the corner and you need instant opposite lock.. first car was a tuned & stripped mk1 Escort on skinny little tyres..) or that through power manage to flick the rear of the car out on corner exits (SR20DET S13 running fairly close on the limits of its factory internals).. so I'd like a setup where it doesn't feel like the rear of the car is pushing the front of the car towards the nearest outside bank or ditch and might even need a flick to throw the rear back into a straight line if I'm particularly excited in my corner exits. (in no way am I trying to make a 318iS do drifts.. I just feel uncomfortable driving a car that doesn't have a natural feeling oversteer) In the front do you think I could (for now) just do the sway bar and a higher rated spring on the M-tec shocks? As it is a lot softer in the front of the car (even just pressing down on the bonnet you feel a huge difference) and from what it feels like while driving, most of it is the actual dip in the front of the car under braking/rise under acceleration feel than an actual body roll.. as far as I know the shocks will help against the "lifting" effect on one side of the car under body roll and the springs help against the "dropping" effect on the opposite side of the car to counteract the roll? the biggest problem in this car feels like the way the outside (in relation to the corner) of the car "drops" into the corner.. I'm used to a very flat, hard ride that feels almost solid at lower speeds so this gets a tad un-nerving and makes it feel like coaxing an oil tanker around some corners.. However the other thing is that presently (according to my tyre wear, cornering feel and a recent wheel alignment.. they don't adjust camber..) my front tyres are running no negative camber if not a slight positive, and my rears are running very slight negative camber, 0.3-0.5 degree's.. what would you suggest as camber settings? I was of the opinion somewhere around 1.5 in the front and 0.5-1.0 in the rear would be an improvement? Cheer's for the help..

I'm going to agree here almost completely, personally I'd choose the M50B25 325 as the slight difference in economy would be offset by the extra 22hp in my own opinion. But it depends which is more important to you.. Power or Economy, there's only gotta be a kilometre per litre difference between each engine.. if that? Please, please, please tell me you ride a Ducati..last time I was in Auckland I saw a youngish guy on a 1098 S and had a big drool..Or if you're more into pedals that move up and down.. Bianchi?
