try Trevor at Auto Interior Specialist just off KRoad, i know he's done E30 door cards and he made a fantastic job of retrimming my seats .. https://auto-interior.co.nz/ https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+interior+specialists&oq=auto+interior+spec&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l6.4103j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
bga replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
was up for $40k around 6 months ago, I thought at the time massively overpriced (although its near enough a perfect example by the look of the pics), at $35k looks to be a good buy now based on what I've seen 325iMs go for recently , just don't have 35k spare unfortunately -
give Ed at GoEuro a bell - https://goeuro.nz/
-
got a fibreglass rep if interested - sprayed up as shown, was going to respray it so sanded down a bit after this pic was taken, original ones are almost impossible to find I found
-
all the Vinyl on mine is original, the only part of the upholstery that is
-
just the fronts, the rears are in good nick, but by the time I'd bought the seats at $200 rough as from a convertible, (that pic above is a bit misleading in that the pic on the left is how the car was with its original seats in) 4 mtrs original fabric @$160 ex GST a mtr and got someone to do the work it came to 2k give or take
-
thats a real sharp price - I had my Coupe seats reupholstered last year, cost $2k once all done ..
-
post this on the E30 Facebook pages I'd say
-
ha.. whats the chances eh. very best of luck with sourcing reclinable sport seats, I got really lucky and ended up with rough ones from a convertible a few years ago and got them reupholstered.. very few and far between for sure - seem to be a few Recaros around from other makes from time to time which may do ya if recovered right .. Yahoo Japan have stuff, these are , I think, genuine E30 recaros for eg.. a bit rough again but very much doubt they'll ever appear in NZ unless you import them .. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g356798086

such a shame, looks great in the pics .. you probably don't want to but if you decide to part out put me on the list for the side skirts

beautiful, theres some pretty rough E21 Alpinas on TradeMe at the momment, might be worth a punt .. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/other/listing-2217156653.htm?rsqid=754185d9527d420aaa410ef1029e7b39-002

.. reigniting an old thread as folks mentioning the ludicrous E30 prices at the moment, the E30 that was the subject of this thread is up on TM again (has been up multiple times since I nearly bagged in a few years ago) asking price is $13k now and it looks to be in worse condition now - certainly regarding the interior https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-2221080086.htm?rsqid=126ba3dab23c463db9c31e4506c7b66a-002

it is level now, although saying that I wouldn't have gone as low as it is now in an ideal world, I'm green as grass when it comes to lowering so know next to nothing about what stuff to get, it would be 10mm higher all round if I had to do it again (get tiresome catching the front lip a few times every week) yours looks about perfect I reckon
-
had Dobi springs put in the back as it was riding a bit high at the rear - nice and straight now
-
i had wet carpets - passenger side - it was the airconditioning unit that had a leak
-
you got it :), the busiest take away in Auckland

Heres the list, monroes were replaced on the rear

Getting few and far between are Coupe sports seats as you’re no doubt aware, best of luck sourcing - i kept my eye out for a good while. Had the suspension overhauled this week, and got the 3” gap between wheel and wheel arch sorted, looks a bit tidier now -
