  1. The gauges are just the product of all of the black back ground peeling off. Have you ever tried these when you drive at night all you see is an orange blur as units and dial back ground all light up orange. I have some like this and I wouldnt evn try selling them.
  2. You can tell with the way the coolant tank is mounted not using original mounting points and brakets had the same problem with mine

  7. Has anybody fitted an m3 clutch to an 220 box I have both zf and getrag slave and i know that a zf slave has not only a longer throw but also a longer shaft im very keen to find out that it definitely fits befor a go buying one. Cheers.
  8. Will e36 m3 sachs dual mass (stock) fit a getrag 220 box or will it be to big
  9. I give up. All wires correspond with m3 wiring my obc works in m3. The m3 obc doesnt work in my car I still cant have consumption or avg speed.

I have the standard non m3 plugs they work the same but I think the data pins arent in the same place any more maybe with the standard cluster it will feed back to obc in that case ill have to look at the m3 wiring I checked the pins on cluster was 12, 21 cant remember the rest but I think the data out put is different on m3 gauges as it doesn't have the l/100km vacuum etc

Well I didnt have the correct correct plugs at all so I had to work pin by pin but I checked again and my wiring again and im not getting info from cluster to read consumption or speed I have m3 gauges so I guess its back to the exemplar m3 for better details. This job has taken me so long to finsh haha
  12. sussed it turns out i was using the wrong info the pelican diy said ground pin 13 of x1071 but i looked at the m3 and 14 was the ground. no that i can see the screen consum or speed doesnt work so i have yet to finsh. cheers
  13. Its not a loose cconnection ive got all the voltages at all the points I should I double check ground im getting a low voltage from check control not sure if im ment to get a 12v from that. Please come fix for mee I also have a m3 car to test off of. I have yet to compare with m3 ill try again this avo and ive already tested unit on the m3 and it works.
  14. Hey guys just done the age old 18 button obc conversion. Ive checked over and over this reseached it done all I can to see what's wrong Short story: wired it just as diy's said (I used a few and compared them) basic no backlight and screen displays info but it flickers and quickly change back to input time. If anybody can fix for me I can pay in beers or cash 021 027 31873 Te atatu CHEERS

So I tried them today and the fit well sadly I know nothing about the springs I put in to the car, I think they were cobra I put oe e36 m3 Springs and the e30 Springs side by side e30 Springs had about and inch less spring height. The springs sat pretty low on the struts to the point I didn't need the spring compressed to fit but Springs fit tight. I had bilsteen Springs before they sat low about on the tyre Now the car sits about 15mm higher than before.
  16. Ohk I was looking at some e30 springs and was wondering if they'd fit my e36 m3 struts and I did some research and apparently they do fit? Is this right ? If so what of spring tension and the other factors of springs? I have oe m3 springs but I want lower I have some e30 springs but I know nothing about them other than they are red haha I guess ill try them?

  18. hey so my abs light came on when i had some starting issues so i guess the only reason that i can think of in terms of causes is constant cranking. Anyway ive been fault finding and this is what ive found all four speed sensors work abs pump works relays have been replaced ive checked all the pin out data i can find the only thing that i cant figure is pin 9 has no power nor does pin 23 every other pin checks out any advice would be awesome i think im going to replace the module?

  21. hey im after some e36 m3 lowering springs i have a factory non evo set but i want loweeer. is there any out the fs,swaps,deals etc cheers guys
