Im thinking polished to hell lip and "one shade darker than silver grey" centres. OR Matt black lips and anodized red centres... subtle or insane, you chose! What offsets will you end up with?

Seems to be running again.. replaced DME relay and its started a few times since then. We'll see how that goes! Thanks for the help everyone!

Hello again! Ive had some more interest in short shifters so will be doing another order in the next few days. I will be ordering shift levers, plastic bearings, and brass gearbox knuckles. I have one Z3 lever for $95 and the rest are currently at $115 but may come down. The plastic bearings (highly recommended) are $30 and the brass knuckles (even more highly recommended) are $35 Postage on the whole lot is $6 nationwide. You were probably joking.. but if not, thats reallllyy bad! It goes straight into the rivers/lakes etc. Your better off tipping it down the toilet, at least that way it goes through some form of treatment station before it hits the environment.

Yea the lights come on, and stay on. The oil pressure light turns off while cranking. Not that its any help haha

One problem with that, the engine isnt running.

Na not intermittently now, its just fully not starting! My thoughts on the ignition go like this: if the key turns on, and it cranks there cant be anything wrong. Yes I have to wiggle the key sometimes but surely that wouldn't make the fuel etc not work. Is there something seperate in the ignition which turns the ECU on at the same time as it turns the starter motor? or is it all in one?

Dear Bimmersport, Car: 1991 E30 320i (motronic) Problem: Has been running fine the last few days since I picked it up. Had a known starting issue before I got it. Every now and again the car wouldnt start.. So here I am picking up the pieces, rescuing a poor wee E30. When I picked it up I had some friends help, we got it running and drove it home and its been fine. BUT! Tonight it has decided to not start again. Symptoms: No spark, no fuel but fuel pump will go if given a direct 12V or if wired directly across the relay. When the key is turned on the Idle control valve doesnt hum like normal. I can hear a tick in the dashboard somewhere but no hum. It cranks over really strongly and it has compression. I have tried a different ECU but that was no help either. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated because I'm stranded at my olds place tonight, and will be using the toyota corolla to get to work tomorrow! Jason

The Z3 isnt tiresome at all, its great!! Perfect "shortness" without being so short that it makes the changes crunch

Im your man for shifter parts. Ive got a sweet write up on how to do it all and I can get the best prices on shifters AND all the bushings. Youll have to wait till monday for prices, Ill make some phone calls for ya.

Im assuming your talking about Jareds car. Its still kicking, quite tidy actually. Has some sweet some suspension goodies in it. He shows his face at the meets occasionally. Nope, there was special touring side skirts though. The sedan stuff fits. and just while we are on the topic.. the mtech1 and 2 sideskirts fit coupes and sedans. Its just the door pods on the mtech2 stuff that is coupe/sedan specific.
