I'm actually starting to not want to go home. It's pretty chur here. But yes, a bit of heat would be nice.
-
Best thing I've seen at the mount was a EVO doing heli's at the main intersection right on the main beach in the middle of the busy summers day. What a tool, but it was cool to watch!

Well i went outside and it hurt to breath! **** you! jokes.

And I wish Ukraine had good weather!! I walked to work today in -12 degrees. Chilly, and even the sun is out..

If you want to be on the toilet for the next 2 weeks, yep!

It's a lump of metal, not a God -
I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying, when we swapped my m50 over, we forgot to do up a few earths.. and it did a whole heap of funny things... not just not starting

I dont think it would all fit in one photo. It is in about 10 billion pieces When it's done it will be sick though!

Three choices - No car until feb - Spend money on another auto which you are going to take out in feb anyway, and you basically cant sell because nobody wants them. Personally, i put mine on the fire. - Or beg like hell for loan from your parents for manualizationz Sucks to be you auh
-
1. Ask your dad for a manual conversion for xmas 2. Pay it off next year with student loan money 3. No problems.

http://cgi.ebay.de/BMW-E30-320-Automatikge...018132003r16154 I googled "81043401484 4hp-22" and that came up. It say's it's for a 320i, which is m20.

Try beeping your horn and see what happens. When we put my M50 in we forgot a few earths and when I pushed the horn the indicators would go etc etc because everything was earthing through something else lol. Basically if you have forgotten all the earths, it wont just be the starter that does not work!
-
I'm pretty sure I did that. I just held it again the block, but made sure it wasn't touching the gear.
-
But for some reason the old lady next door didn't like my m50 with no exhaust when I first got it going doing burnouts up my driveway =S Some people...
-
That sucks. I'm not going to look under my carpet. Ignorance is bliss.
-
Disconnect the starter from the engine and pull it away a bit, but keep it wired up and see if it turns over freely. If it goes wizzzzz then you know it's wired up properly and it's either not the correct starter, or you have a more serious problemo. EDIT: You haven't connected up the earths? OH COME ON RICHARD lol.
-
Yea compare the gear size on each starter and check if they are the same. If they are different, there is your problem, if they are the same try the other anyway because you original one might be poked
-
Have you checked the starter off the car? Check to see if it is working, or try using another one. If you can turn the engine over by hand then I'd say it is a starter issue, or battery. If the starter wasn't throwing out far enough to engage on the gear it would sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eVtio58he8 EDIT: for noobness
-
Transmission not being plugged in wont change anything. All it would do is make it drive in limp mode probably.

Absolutely and utterly grotesque. -
It can get you in a lot of trouble thinking, BrookFromHamilton. I shouldn't do so much of it.
