mark247 replied to Italiano_87's topic in General Discussion
Plastic ones are good. I think they sometimes come with the clutch kit. -
There are heaps of them here. They are all very nice. Maybe photos after this weekend. Have a big saturday night planned...

Here are two blurry panoramas I made with my phone, and a photo of some snow. Because it's winter everything looks gray, I've seen photos of the city during summer and it looks 100x nicer. But still... it's character.

On e30tech, r3vlimited, bimmerforums, e30zone, or even GPforums CB&M =P To name a few.... haha.
-
Sorry about the size too, they came from my phone and I didnt realise how large they were... thats why they are such bad quality as well... mobile phone photos arrgh. I do have a camera but I always forget it.. By the way that bottom photo is from the class at the school I'm working at which is for military preparation. Conscription is manditory here. Yea it's a fancy piece of kit. I climbed to the end of the missiles. Fun.

Some photos from my time in the Ukraine so far if anyone is interested... I only uploaded interesting ones, so dont go away thinking that the Ukraine is just full of communist statues, AK47s, AK47 shaped vodka bottles, and old buildings.... but maybe it is? Enjoy.

Yeah just torque it up to the propper specs and use locktite. Autos dont have a flywheel, they just have that plate the starter works off, correct. Just put it all back togeather with all the other little plates and stuff that went with it and the torque converter and do it up properly. Use your old bolts from the b20 auto because they will be a different length than the b25 flywheel ones ( if it came with any )
-
I've never replaced the flywheel bolts. But use locktite on them. You are replacing the spigot bearing I guess? One other way you can remove them is by packing the with grease from behind with a grease gun and pushing it out.

oh my god another know-it-all on trademe. What's new? Who cares? If someone buys the car and hasn't done their research, it's there fault. If the seller in lying, that's what court is for.
-
Cool car. Those extractors need a lick of paint though, would tidy up the engine bay a heap!
-
Do a skid anyway. HB.

Haha, nah, my mate bought mine off me for $500 with everything, loom, afm, blah blah blah. It was a m20b25 and it was actually a really good engine so I was not going to blow it up haha. I had just replaced the cambelt on it as well.
-
Blurple is what you call the colour right? lol
-
UK ones do have a bit of rust. Mine is UK and it is like what Jamez said, had rust down under battery and jack in the boot. I did a half ass job of repairing it but when I get the money I will pay my mate to do it properly. Just check out all the obvious places for rust, you may find it is ok. Mine had it in the boot, around the rear lights, and in the sunroof. I did only pay $1200 though..
-
Either give it away or put it on trademe, some noob will buy it who forgot to change their cambelt and bent all their valves. What you should of done though is seen how long it would sit on the rev limiter for before you took it out, with no exhaust.

If i was you I'd ditch the chromes. Get rid of that paint because it looks awful and paint it a normal colour, even another cheap job like the job done now but with a normal colour. Then get new trim such as for bumpers and around doors so it has no remains of dinosour colour. Then it might be worth a few grand. How it is I wouldn't pay $500, but i guess if you find someone with a "taste" for funny coloured cars, you might just be better off selling it how it is.

I guess I'll just have to keep blowing out my tyres on my driveway =/

I lol'd a bit I thought everyone did that? Because I dont have airbags and just wave my headunit out the window when people take photos of me, or when i see some hawt biznitchez
