Thanks, I wanted to keep the seats pretty plain but chose to have the ///M stripes added as a little something extra And the Leather/alcantara will look really nice.. just have to take good care of it though!! Planning on adding the EVO red seatbelts to finish off the interior.. Promise I will get more pics up once the seats arrive & when my M3 turns up i'll get pics of everything. Cheers, Laurence.

As the title says, im putting a full recaro interior into my e30 M3.. I've just had the first pictures of the Recaro seats sent to me today. They are being shipped from Germany by next week and will be at my work in 2-3 weeks time (Which works well as my e30 m3 should be finally ready, with rebuilt motor in 3-4weeks) Will also have Recaro adaptor brackets which will bolt onto the original e30M3 floor mounts. Front seats are Recaro Sr's - custom order (part of s14.net gb) Back seats are matching (just the fabric, i'll be stretching them onto the original seat foam) Heres the first pictures. Does anyone know the name of the shipping company that transports cars from CHCH to Wellington directly?? I know theres a ship that leaves from CHC harbur and into Welly the next day, keen to call them to book my car for December. Laurence.

I sent my M3 from Welly - Invercargill on the train (freight). Call them for a quote as not too sure if they do HB to Welly. From HB to Welly I'd expect it to be a few hundy. Laurence.

So how exactly do we go about being one fo the 50 cars a year to be given an exemption?? Do we have to call the Driver & vehicle Cert Unit and get a confirmation from them: A - Before the rule is put in place or B - As soon as the rule is put into place?? I'd better start collection some documents to prove that my car is a collectable.. Don't want to miss out on being one of the 50 a year they are talking about. Laurence.

They are a little pricy. Last time I checked i could get 17x9 (rears) & 17x8.5(fronts) in the country for $4600. I'd love to get them on my car.. one of the sexiest wheels on an e30 i recon. lol, how can you go wrong with BBS RS 17's :D Laurence.

price includes the actual seats.. I think the covers are around $1100 a seat to cover Recaro SR's, so you'd only need to get the 2 covers and get them fitted by a shop over here. You want the back seat from my M3?? it's full leather.. I won't need it as will have new rears too. Laurence.

Hey Ollie, Nice purchase!!! See you bought the M3 off my mate Liam.. Haha, I used to drool over it everytime I was over at his place!!! (argh, i haven't seen my e30M3 in over 1yr). You won't regret the purchase.. I heard that you a little taste of how powerfull they are in the high rev range They sound soo hot when you get them over 4000k revs. Nothing beats the s14 at 130kpm in 2nd gear Sorry i wasn't in town when you came over on Sunday otherwise would ova to say hi.. think i was talking to you re: haydens RS2000.. which i'm still kinda keen on. Just a little info from what I've heard, having talked with the LTSA.. I don't think the market on e30M3's will flood given that: A) There will probably be a limit applied on how many LHD cars that can be registered under the proposed law change. More than likely you won't be able on-sell the car for at leasr 1-2yrs (to prevent buyers bringing them in and selling them).. But then again who would want to sell an e30M3 :D C) You can probably only bring in, and register, a LHD under this law change once every 5yrs+ IMO the price will increase on LDH e30m3's as being OEM LHD they won't have to be changed to RHD to comply. So will retain the original steering rack, fire wall, steering box, dash. Even though you can fit the stock e30 RHD dash, you would have to use an e36 M3 or Z3 steering rack on a RHD e30M3, unless you want s**t steering. @ Ollie If you are keen on some GENUINE e30M3 BBS wheels i'd be keen on a swap + some cash your way. I'm putting Toyo R555's 205/55/15's onto my e30 m3 15's BBS rims. From what i remember they were in pretty good condition. I was going to get some 17' BBS RS's wheels but sorta liked the rims on this e30M3. PM me if you're keen. (i'll have my car back in Nov so can swap then). Cheers, Laurence.

Agreed... Afterall you are paying the extra $$ for the history of the car.. If it's a Motorsport, M3 or any other FACTORY special addition... You can put flared guards on an e30 and install an s14 engine but it will never be a genuine M3.. Just the same you can add interior, springs and badges etc to an e30 but it will never be a genuine Motorsport. Just my 2c. Laurence

I go to BP purely for the AA pts. I'd go to shell for Flybuys but don't have a card. If i have the e36 M3 then it's always 98oct at BP unless i'm really low on gas. In the 4x4 i just use 91 as thats recomended on the engine specs. I find that with 98 the M3 drives a little smoother than when i use 95/96.. There also seems to be a bit less 'delay' in engine pick-up when i give it a proper 'drive' . Laurence.

Sucks to hear bro!!! I had the exact same thing happen to my one Merc 190e.. Found the wanker who did it as well. Thought it was better to get him where it hurt.. His wallet... ($1500 worth of damage later). Hope you find the prick that did this!! Main thing is to make sure that if you have creases in the panels after you get them popped out get them treated to stop rust etc. Laurence.

If in doubt i'd say change it on the ownership papers!.. That way all you have to do is provide them with a copy of the ownership documents showing that you are a joint owner along with either/both of your parents. Laurence.
