  1. Haha.. pretty much! Shouldn't have too many problems getting over things once the tyres are fitted.. Will have to wait to use them though, busy weekend coming up (was hoping to get out and try them this weekend). Laurence.
  2. Haha.. it was done a bit better than 'chopping it up in a shop'.. Knowing the quality of the work done I don't think the RHD conversion devalues it at all IMHO the asking price is under what the car is truely worth.. it's cost a lot more to rebuild than what he's asking so there won't be any 'profit' made if it sells. I guess it comes down to "What it's worth in the eyes of the buyer". wouldn't suprise me if this thing goes off shore to AUS. Laurence.
  3. will be using it for 80% off-road 20% on-road so these tyres won't wear too quicily hopefully. Was just reading that the tyres are rated to a max speed of 120kph! They will be pretty noisy on road but they should go good in the mud.. won't be too great for sidlings with the pretty agressive directional tread pattern.. might need to look into air lockers later this year Laurence.
  4. At an educated guess I would be thinking $100K+ Given our geographical location & the fact that this is probably the cleanest e30 Cab in Australasia I think it's worth the asking price Laurence.
  5. Hmm.. well a 4" gash to the side of my current MT tyre on Saturday pretty much rulled out that tyre ever being used again.. But it was kinda handy though as I'd been thinking of upgrading the tyres on the 4x4 for some time. After 'bartering' a pretty good deal for a new set i've decided to go for Maxxis Muzilla M8080's on the Safari. I'll run 33 x 13.5 x 15's until I turbo the 4.2L, then look to go to 35's when I have a bit more gas. (here's hoping the tyre shop doesn't pinch the inner tubes trying to fit the new tyres) PS: these things look rugged awesome what do you guys think?? Laurence.
  6. This thing is MINT!! http://www.bmwclub.co.nz/market-place/403.html If only I won lotto i'd buy this straight away! Have been for a few cruises in this thing and it's awesome.. pitty it's for sale.. here's hoping it goes to a someone who will look after it There probably won't be another like it in New Zeland again, EVER! Laurence.
  7. Given they have a picture then ask to see it.. Maybe the pic will prove that you were using the 98 pump not the 91 pump. I bet the stuffed up the transactions and when you paid for your gas the guy at the counter put it against the wrong pump.. Laurence.
  8. haha... sell your bike and buy thins instead, lol. Laurence.
  9. Just seen this now... I'd be real keen to get in on the GB.. Is it too late?? Cheers, Laurence.
  10. Whats with this guy re-listing his cars with different prices all the time?? Is he hoping to catch someone unaware and make $$ huge profit on his cars or something?? Lol i saw his responses last time he had the red 535 for sale.. weird. Laurence.
  11. Mate, you're telling me!! it's creaming me having to wait, but I know it will be SO worth it when it arrives.. I'll probably see you this Thursday night?? Should have an update for you then Cheers, Laurence.
  12. Max.. so you're selling the e30 aye?? Gl with the sale mate!! Laurence.
  13. I don't think the car was stolen.. Did an LTSA check on it when it came up and all seemed ok.. Maybe the seller requested it to be withdrawn without having to lose the listing fee?? Laurence
  14. It's a snon-evo e30 M3, but a damn nice one at that! Laurence.
  15. I remember that add well!! But not too sure where you could download it from.. Maybe BMW Nz would have a copy archived, you could call them and find out some info. or search the web/youtube.. it may be on there as well. Laurence.
  16. If you have a witness that saw this guy put the boxes onto your car you should claim this through insurance.. Sorry to hear about the damage, hopefully you can get the car fixed up soon. Laurence.
  17. I've been checking the site lately.. Am still waiting for this law to be passed (if it ever is) http://www.ltsa.govt.nz/consultation/front...dment-rule.html Laurence.
  18. You have a PM Laurence.
  19. I'm hoping for around 105 - 115hp/litre on the e30 M3 when it's dyno'd in 2 weeks. Not too sure of weight/power ratio.. haven't had the car weighed yet. I'll get actual figures up once it's all dyno'd. Laurence.
  20. Lol, the front spoiler reminds me of those old school moustaches that twirls up on the sides. Laurence.
  21. Im looking for an in-car video system for filming from race car dashboard/rollcages etc.. Anyone know what the good brands/easy to use video car systems?? Cheers, Laurence.
  22. Who will fund the cost to install the units into the cars? Wait.. the government will probably use taxpayer money to fund satelite dishes to track the 2,000,000 plus GPS units fitted to cars in NZ. they might need to hold onto that surplus instead of giving a 'tax break' next year. Laurence.
  23. Awesome work mate!! Glad that the seats worked out alright for you in the end Any plans for the engine?? Cheers, Laurence.
  24. Have sold the 18's.. but I still have the 17's avaliable if anyone is interested.. I HAVE 2 TYRES THAT I NEED GONE FAST!! I have 2 x 17" . Only putting the offer up on Bimmersport for now but would ideally like them gone by next week sometime. From what I can tell the 17"s are: Hankook - Ventus K102 - 225/45Z R17 91W The 17" tyres were on the e36 M3 which had some camber probs so the insides are a bit worn. Not too sure if they would get a WOF as we put a brand new set of 4 on when we had the camber probs fixed. Happy for buyer to check all this out before buying if you need. Happy if you want to view before buying.. I'm looking for $5 reserve per tyre. PM me with offer or buy the 2 tyres for $20 Pics: Thanks, Laurence.
