  1. too long! see you on Friday Laurence
  2. I've also heard Tint Magic are pretty good.. hope it doesn't end up costing you too much more than $400 to get everything sorted Laurence.
  3. thanks mate And I even have to work until 1am this morning.. no rest 4 the wicked haha. Laurence
  4. I think that this post may be under someone else's name but it is me, Oscar making the post. Tom is right here, he has made a fair and honest call. I had a brain problem last year. I do my very best to stay in the game (socially, family, work etc.) but it is very hard. Anyone seen that film 50 first dates ? It is a bit like that. I am not a troll or an a**hole person. I care deeply about all people. I also have lots of very close friends on this board. Wish it was different/better ....but it is not for now. Sorry for anyone being offended.
  5. CamB is absolutely right here. With the best of intentions towards you and with no disrespect intended...don't do it. I have rebuilt three E30M3's and the cost is mindblowing. Please...do not go there. If you do want to throw money at something like this, you would be better advised (as CamB said) to just do up another E30 version. (just to put it into perspective, I spent around 120k buying and restoring my E30M3 Cabrio). Yeah...I know...mad. But it looks nice Whoops..don't know how that happened. This post is not from old skool. It is from Oscar. Old skool was at my house a couple of days ago and we were checking out stuff on my 'puta. Sorry Laurence...I'll dial you out shortly and dial myself back in
  6. just to update this thread.. After checking out a number of tyres I've decided to go with the TOYO R888 235/40/17 all round. 225/45/17's would have been a little more ideal but were pushing the 5% threshold allowed so staying with the wider/flatter tyre. Hmm.. might pay to fit an oil baffle to prevent oil starvation on sharp corners with these puppies Will try to get pics posted in the next few weeks once they are fitted. Laurence.
  7. looks awesome! love the RS's on the e30 Great to see an e30 being well cared for. Laurence
  8. hehe.. Max, you dirty person LOL Laurence
  9. Agreed. Price aside I just thought i'd put the add up so us members can have a look at pics of a really really hot M3 Laurence.
  10. I know, it is a lot of $$$ but it is also a rare e30 M3 EVO and has had extensive mods done.. AF airbox, re-worked engine w/motec, AP racing brakes, BBS RS... the list goes on. Laurence.
  11. Some lucky bugger is going to snap this up!!! Absolutely awesome car! Sound's so sweeet with the CF airbox and 2.5L s14 (droooolll.....) If only I won lotto this weekend. http://www.bmwclub.co.nz/market-place/507.html Cheers, Laurence
  12. Kiwi535.. after checking with a few people today I did find out that 245/35/17 is only avaliavle in 1 type of tyre which has now been discontinued.. Might lean towards a 235/40/17.. they are bringing the new Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetic tyre out in this size. It's a little bigger RR but only 2.1% bigger. Laurence
  13. Thanks heaps for the help guys I think i'm going to be pretty limited as to what tyre I get if I keep the overall circumference the same. Sport Maxx, Toyo or Yokohama would be nice but problem is they don't make them in the right size Laurence
  14. I'd like to get the Sport Maxx but don't think that they do the right size (rolling circumference). Only thing I can find with same rolling size is 245/35/17 in Eagle F1 (product code: 4039057). How would that tyre size go on an 8.5" mag?? Do you stock these at your store? Laurence.
  15. OEM for the M3 was 205/55/15 - 606.5 diameter, 1905 circumference. Laurence
  16. Hmm.. been having a bit of difficulty choosing what tyres to run on the M3 and have come up with a few options, but am after a little help. Everywhere I call tells me their tyre is the best performer and so I go round in circles. I'm looking for a pretty high performance tyre that will be mainly for 'dry road conditions' and have heaps of grip. Id like to know the performance of each tyre, and if it's worth paying $x amount more for a tyre, or if the performance of each is pretty much on par with the others. Any feedback from personal experience would be greatly appreciated. All tyres are 215/40/17 - to go on 17x8.5 rims A ) Bridgestone RE001 - $290ea B ) Dunlop SP Sport Maxx (price unknown) C ) Goodyear Eagle F1 - $220ea (any other sugestions??) Cheers, Laurence
  17. hey bro, any more pics of the e30?? gota mate that might be keen aye. what wheels you selling it with? Laurence
  18. Yeah bro, you bet!! Might be a while though, maybe sometime in June/July. I'm in college full-time Monday-Friday for the next 15weeks but we get a 2 week break end of June. Will definately sort something for all the welly guys Laurence.
  19. hey bro.. should be able to sort something within the next 2 weeks.. Just waiting to see when I can sell the 4x4. Have a few people interested so if I can sell it this weekend then I might be able to sort something in 2 weeks time? laurence.
  20. RS's are et13 all around & are a 3 piece wheel Laurence.
  21. Have a guy in Germany that restores BBS wheels as well as other M3 bits. RS's have to be one of the hottest wheels for e30 M3's (i might be a little bias) lol Just trying to decide what rubber to go with. Was looking at Toyo 888's but not too sure if they make them in the right size. Laurence.
  22. Markus is the man!! Hehe.. i'm glad you should ask that, it's in CHCH now. As i've been away at college I haven't had too much time to call up for progress reports on the M3. Last I heard it was getting MoTeC installed. Maybe 1 week away?? It's killing me real bad, but I know it will be worth it when it turns up. Im also looking at putting the GrpA Splitter & rear wing on Laurence
  23. Not too sure what you mean. ?!?! Laurence.

    BBS RS :)

Woohoo! Just picked up my BBS RS wheels tonight.. Planning on putting them on my e30 M3. I had the wheels shipped from Germany last week on Friday and they arrived here today, perfect condition! Packging was A+ Wheels are: BBS RS 17"x8.5" all around. Heres a few pictures: (colour is a bit off) Laurence.
  25. http://www.classiccover.co.nz/ Really good company and you will get a pretty reasonable price. I have a quote with them to cover my M3 when I get it on the road. Cheers, Laurence
