    Parking fine

Don't accept it, start writing letters, play on other aspects of situation too, customer service etc. Just last week i got off a $60 parking fine from Wilson Carparking lol!

    Parking fine

If you don't think what happened was right - then contest it. I'm speaking from experiance - everything i have ever challenged whether right or wrong, i have always won. Whether it be a speeding ticket or something as silly as a parking fine, or $20 termination fee etc etc etc. Write letters and make phone calls - it works! If you feel stronly enough, go to court.
  7. I have a set of Borbet C 16x7.5 for an e30 like the pic below....
  8. There will be a few BMW's racing at Manfield on Sunday....
  9. pm 'flake' - i hear he may have a set or 2....
  10. Is this a sign.....? lol.
  11. Aftermarket shock mounts, ie. AKG, Ireland Engineering etc, anything that support the rear shock tower and top of the shock a bit more. Edit: Or Z3 style ones etc
  12. I guess where i'm coming from is that my car spends alot of time on the track and will be spending alot more time there next year and i've had no issues at all with the koni / h&r way and personally wont be changing to coilovers anytime soon. So my opinion is just saying how good i think the spring shock combo has been for me.
  13. This is probably aimed more at the tracking your car side of things - its not just about coilovers or springs/shocks - you need to also look into bushes of all types, sway bars, camber plates, shock mounts, lsd, strut braces, etc etc etc. I have H&R Springs and Koni Adjustables. My car handles very well on the track and a few people on here have seen that first hand. However i have done the other things as mentioned above. I personally don't see much of an advantage of going to coilovers etc especially with the whole cert thing etc. Sticking with the spring / shock option is a much easier option. Thats just my 2c, i'm not an expert on the subject by any means.
  14. All Car & Marine Upholstery in Petone - speak to Richard. There is another place just off Udy St, but can't think of the name, something like Euro-Italian Leather Care - speak to Alex.
  15. Again not on my car, but put the rear tech1 kit onto the rear chrome bumper (a new straight bumper from pick a part!) and mounted it to the car. Changed spark plugs and in the process managed to rip a lead into about 5 pieces trying to get it off! Don't think they had been changed in a while! Got another lead set (thanks to Nath & Anthony!) and installed that too! Just need some paint now to finish spraying the front valance, then mount that and all done - Tech1 FTW!
  16. Spend a bit more and buy mine - it has 3 pedals instead of 2, no jatco to worry about. Only 70k and no cooling /. overheating issues. Plus its a motorsport coupe with bodykit and sports seats etc.
  17. Not on my bmw, but a bmw nonetheless. Changed rear control arm bushes from f&cked ones to urethane ones, stripped the whole front end of the car. Sanded, primed and was going to paint front valance, but the dickheads at the paint shop didn't mix the colour right - so will have to wait till Monday now. Attached Mtech1 front kit to the chrome bumper. Did an oil change and I think thats about it.... Roll on Sunday!
  18. Pretty sure the only requirement for a wof regarding the spare is that if there is a spare wheel, it must be secure.
  19. Ponder this: At the recent Taupo track day i filled up in the morning, during the day emptyed another 20L container into the car. I left on empty thinking i may not make it to the gas station. I drove a whole 180Km on the track for about 75L of petrol. So approx 40L/100Km......
  20. Someone buy this so i can buy Ray's touring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Karen Foot? Married to Matthew Foot? She's there most days at the moment because our receptionist is off. We have grown alot even in the last 2 years since i've been there - taken on at least 20+ staff, 3 new buildings etc etc..! Our numbers are normally up around the 200 mark each month. Incidently, Ken Williams now runs our service dept!
  22. ...unfortuanatly i don't own our yard - if i did i would be driving an m3 not a 325i lol. Which Karen?? What do you supply us?
