0 out of 5 NCap stars. hahaha. I bet China is just trying to control the population with unsafe cars.

Funny you should say that Brian. I find the E36 to be the most uninspired plain jane looking BMW of the lot. Have never liked them in stock form. I especially don't like the headlights and interior. They are a German Toyota Corolla to me. Nothing interesting. Nothing special. I like the older designs. 2002, E30, E24. I think that the E39 was the best looking mass produced BMW though. Especially the facelifts.

Yeah they were goals. Goals that will never be reached. Not even close.

Thanks Jack. Shame Matt G got away from us a little. Couldn't make up the ground. Would have liked to have a battle with him.

I use to like any Mazda Rotary. Can't stand them now unless they are stock original. I also use to like Drifting and the cars involved in it. Now I just think skids are for kids and the grassroots drifting is long gone.

Hey I sent a text but got no reply. Am keen to take the wheels. Dan 0275473315

Grant at GT is usually pretty busy but does a great job. Otherwise if you want a tough as sh*t paint job go and see Pro Coat on Neilpark Drive in East Tamaki. They will also strip your wheels. They also have a few types of finish. Smooth glossy. Matte Textured etc..

Are they in good condition mate? If so I am keen to take them. Cheers Dan Will send text.

No it was #18 of a total of 30 built. There is only 9 examples known to still exist worldwide. Only one in Southern Hemisphere.

Yeah I loved the E24. Best example around. I liked how it had a factory boost controller by the handbrake. And after seeing it I am not sure if I want to build a B10 or a B7S for the open class now. There was some amazing cars there today. So many beautifully presented cars in all forms. Does make me laugh that Ray needed to enlist 5 drivers just so he could get all his toys to the meet. And he still had to leave the two wagons at home. Hahaha. Good to meet more of you too.

V8's are too slow unless you spend massive amounts of money. Can always make up for the extra weight with a bigger turbo Dave. Just imagine Millans car with a conservative 300 -350rwkw.
-
I bid on the Silver one. But someone hit the buy now. Had a mate check it and it was a good buy. Already an E28 Turbo being built for the series. E34 is where it is at. That red one looks bloody horrible. They really don't look good in that color. Doesn't look in the best condition ether. Would not pay more than about $3800 for that one in that condition. Also being English is also off putting. Rust prone. The white Schnitzer with the plate WOGBOS would be ideal at a realistic price. $5K. Would have to de-rice it though.
-
I am after a E34 535 manual. No conversions. Prefer NZ new. Prefer M or schnitzer kitted. Prefer LSD. 4-6K depending on condition. Cheers Dan

HB Brent. Hope you got a cage and some open class decals for the M5

Meh. Do not care for the sound or the car. Now this... (ignore music at start) Or this... Or this... Hell even the S14

Look up upholsterers in the yellow pages. Or call one of the parts sponsors and replace them.

Hey guess what! You can still take your waste oil down to the marina at Half Moon Bay like I said 2 years ago in this thread.

Gavin @ Hi Velocity can tune it. He is up in Auckland though.

Nice find. Check out some of his other vids. Quite interesting. Especially the Turbo ones. First Motronic ECU's.

Here we go. http://www.youtube.com/user/veilguy This guys vids are testing all the jammers active/passive and different ways to catch you. Ex-Cop. He rips the passive jammers to bits. They DO NOT work as previously stated in this thread. The Jammer in my fathers Merc went off again yesterday on the Souther Motorway by Mt Wellington. So I counted to see when it turns off. Is around 5 seconds. Quite a long time though.

Talk to any inspection service or BMW specialist and they will tell you to stay away from Singapore cars. But there was a recent argument on Bimmersport with a bunch of people backing the Singapore cars. My personal experience with them has been very very bad and costly. And I still feel people who recommend them are handing the person a grenade. Jap cars usually have more options than the NZ new ones. NZ new ones are usually in better condition. But get the car to a specialist to have it checked. Where in NZ are you. We can recommend one close to you.

Fathers Merc has Jammers hidden away. Got tagged towing the car down to Hampton last Sunday. Was quite a laugh seeing the cop try over and over. Didn't matter as I was cruising along on cruise control. How can the cop prove you are jamming him? Unless you have one sitting up on your dash in plain sight.

Well I am not going to read that crap. Keep that bullshit to txting other 14 year olds.

I didn't get many battles. Everytime another Bimmer came close to me I was doing something else. Driver Training etc..
