I am after an E30 for a friend of mine who recently had a nose to tail in her one and the car was written off by insurance. The car must be mint. No rust. No mechanical issues. Good panel and paint and interior. I would prefer something that has been looked after and serviced rather than someones thrashed runaround. Car must be Auto. 2dr/4dr, color doesn't matter. Around $3K depending on condition.

Funny how as soon as someone says they don't like it they are instantly a Hater (or whatever the lame hipster term). If this is the case. Some other things I am an apparent "Hater" on. Tomatoes Car Theifs Smoking Spiders

Meh. Still don't rate it.

You will get over it. Its a switch that just turns off one day. Even though my user name says Driftit. I despise it these days.

Back when I thought Drifting was cool.

Yeah the original video had the info correct. Was posted here a while back.

Yeah should be alright. I am pretty sure it is a Facelift one. It isn't the same as my PFL one thats for sure. Will check on Monday as I have racing all weekend.

Is a very nice car. Pictures don't do it justice.

Thanks the guy was very prompt. Even let me interupt his lunch date to come out and give me them. And they ones I got are real carbon for $25 each. Not bad.

Hey mate a good friend of mine has his facelift 4 door 325 factory manual for sale. Is based in Auckland. Is a pretty good car. Needs a tidy up and some love but mechanicaly sweet. Even has those smiley E30 headlights that everyone wants. His name is AJ give him a yell on 0212120129 and tell him Dan sent ya. It was on TM the other day. Edit : Found it. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-319731775.htm It needs a new front valance that I was meant to be giving him. Has all its spotlights and brake ducts still.

Are you sure about this? If you are right I will fight it some more. The car has always had a rego. We renewed it before it ran out. But this time the ticket had honestly just fallen out of a sun damaged sleeve and now lives down the front of the dash somewhere. The same day she went and got a new ticket reprinted at the post office. The fact that the warden took a photo of the sleeve makes me think that they were trying to cover their ass just in case they are wrong for issuing the ticket.

Or you can buy them new from Hella.

My poor sister is going through a similar situation at the moment. She parked in Howick in her 318ti and received a fine for $200 for no rego. The car did have a rego but the ticket must have fallen out of the loose pocket. She wrote in and explained that the car does have a rego and a wof but the ticket had fallen out which they could confirm via their system. They responded by saying Tuff sh*t $200 for not displaying your rego ticket. And even supplied a fricken photo the wanker parking nazi had taken of the rego holder with no ticket. So even though she had a rego and a wof she still has to pay $200 for it falling out. What a joke.

Yours has had a good life. Not some pansy ass garage queen.

Will be good if your right. As it will make the Forza franchise think outside the box again.
-
You sound like a Fan Boy making all these presumptions about a title that has not been released. GT4 was not future proofed. What makes you think GT5 will be. GT4 was a steaming pile of butt compared to Forza. Hell it was a steaming pile of butt compared to GT3. Once something is developed it is easy to copy and improve. Forza 4 will be on par or the title will die. GT5 will be good, that is one presumption that is almost guaranteed. But I would make sure there is other games on the PS3 you want to play before you change camps. Purchasing a new expensive console just for one game is nuts.
-
I think my age is showing. As I find that car bloody horrid. Waste of an M5.
-
rFactor is a true sim. GT5 is an Arcade sim imo. Graphics on GT5 are FAR superior. But settings for cars are very limited compaired to what you can do to the race cars in rFactor. rFactor is pretty old now. New engine is being developed.

No E30 M3. sh*t they better. The M3 in Forza 3 was my fav. ITB's and intake and OMG sex sound.
-
Someone who played the game at the Playstation Day. Sounds something similar to what I said a while back. And did anyone else see the Combi van in that vid? lol.

NZI don't. Track day insurance is not really available in NZ like it is in places like the UK. But even in the UK it is expensive and really only viable to people running high end expensive cars. Just take it easy for your first few times. Nearly every time I go to an open day, some over confident unexperienced person crashes. Check out http://www.playdayontrack.co.nz/news.php They often hold track days and would no doubt be willing to help you get out on the track for your first time.

Rang him today and he is flat out. But he should have all that there. Just give him a call. Leave a msg if he is not able to answer.
