  1. Ahhh pickapart. What you save in money you waste in time and the unknown condition of the parts you pull off. Occasionaly you get lucky and find a real score. Use to go there and pull out the R200 diffs out of everything. Paid $45 for them. Sold them for $250.
  2. Pick up from Bucklands Beach.
  3. Cool will update with shipping out of Auckland on Monday. Brake Cleaner will strip off oil and grease pretty quick. It is great for cleaning parts. You don't need to hose it off like degreaser. It evaporates. It is best to wear gloves when handling soaked parts as it is not good for your skin. I have cleaned encrusted filthy gearboxes and diffs from E30's with little effort using this stuff. Will strip all oils very quick. Leaves them Dry.
  4. There is 12 in a box. As many boxes as you like. No store down the line sorry. But I can organise shipping. Not sure on prices just yet. Would have to confirm on Monday. I will go past work in the morn and grab a few boxes just in case some of you want some over the weekend. BTW. These have quite a bit of pressure. So is good for the hard to reach places.
  5. Have done a deal with the company I work for to sell on all the brake cleaner. We just need it gone so I sussed a decent price for you guys. Brake cleaner is the most effective parts cleaner. Is wicked for taking of old grease and other caked on crap. Selling it for as cheap as possible. $4.50 a can 510g can. CRC engine clean is around $12 a can and does the same job. Can have as many cans as you like. Post here or PM me. I have put it on some other forums too. Is plenty avalible and is pretty cheap. Let me know if you want any. Dan

    Lexus IS200

Unless you are buying the IS200 from a Lexus dealer with the Lexus warranty. Get a Toyota Altezza. The only reason you would buy a Lexus variant of a Toyota model is for the service and warranty Lexus supply.
  7. Yip do not bother with a BMW drift car unless you have lots of money or wish to transplant in a better or Jap motor. Your only cheap option for diffs is to weld up an open diff as the LSD's are very expensive. They are also snappy little cars when biffing them around. As you said. Get yourself a lazy old Nissan. Cefiro, Laurel. Though about 10X the price they were 10 years ago they are plentiful and easy to drive.
  8. I can't stand the two younger muppets from 5th Gear. They are very annoying.
  9. Shouldn't be a problem. Will let you know.
  10. They will sell for what they are worth to someone. I have infact offered these to all of my friends and work mates for what they cost me. Feel free to make me an offer if you are a Bimmersporter who drives a BMW. And if you were a true fan that did not want to miss out. You would have joined the Metallica Fan Club as discussed in the Metallica thread on this forum to get advanced sales. If you search back you will see many items have been listed here. From TV's to Boats. But if you start listing all your crap don't come crying when it gets deleted or people start trolling your threads. e.g. Some of Shadys threads.
  11. Due to some out of Auckland friends pulling out I have to sell their tickets. They are seated together in Row K Seat 26 and 27. These were purchased early on due to being Metallica club members. They are for the WED 13th of OCT. Auction will end Sunday. So I can courier the tickets to you first thing Monday unless other arrangements are made. Pick ups are ok. Reserve price is only $320. Less than what they cost me due to Metallica club membership. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...217&ed=true
  12. I have one that you can have. It is a 325 one with the oil cooler area in the middle. Has no brake duct holes so is no good for me. But I am in East Auckland. Edit: May have just swaped it for another one. But I can prob find you a damaged one.
  13. Mate is confirming prices for me now. Will update when I get them.
  14. Yeah it was addressed to Don too. Haha.
  15. And Graham (Bravo) for showing me the comp. I am one of those people that always complain that I never win anything or that I missed the deadline for the competition entry. But got a package delivered this morn. Opened it up to find a big box from Hella. A set of brand new E30 headlights. They are conversion headlights so they can also replace your old PFL headlights and have all the right plugs. Now I think I will make up some stone guards for the lights before I put them onto my E30. I loose a headlight nearly every round in the E30 series from stones. I can also prob get you a good deal on new lights from Hella if you want some. FL ellipsoid headlights are FAR FAR superior to the PFL lights and really worth the upgrade if you drive at night a bit.
  16. Changed router recently. So doesn't work. Also not broad casted anymore due to kid neighbors trying to crack WEP key. Now Mixed WPA-PSK+WPA2-PSK. Should take them a while longer to crack that.
  17. I am after an E30 for a friend of mine who recently had a nose to tail in her one and the car was written off by insurance. The car must be mint. No rust. No mechanical issues. Good panel and paint and interior. I would prefer something that has been looked after and serviced rather than someones thrashed runaround. Car must be Auto. 2dr/4dr, color doesn't matter. Around $3K depending on condition.
  18. Funny how as soon as someone says they don't like it they are instantly a Hater (or whatever the lame hipster term). If this is the case. Some other things I am an apparent "Hater" on. Tomatoes Car Theifs Smoking Spiders
  19. Meh. Still don't rate it.
  20. You will get over it. Its a switch that just turns off one day. Even though my user name says Driftit. I despise it these days.
  21. Yeah the original video had the info correct. Was posted here a while back.
  22. Yeah should be alright. I am pretty sure it is a Facelift one. It isn't the same as my PFL one thats for sure. Will check on Monday as I have racing all weekend.
  23. Is a very nice car. Pictures don't do it justice.
  24. Thanks the guy was very prompt. Even let me interupt his lunch date to come out and give me them. And they ones I got are real carbon for $25 each. Not bad.
