When connecting to a PC should I use HDMI or the old VGA cable? TV is about 10m from the PC.

Get a Plasma for fast moving games. Modern Plasmas are superior imo. You can get a decent 42 Panasonic Plasma V series for $1600 from Bond and Bond at the moment. Down from $2400rrp. Very good value for money.

Upgrading S class to 7 Series... some suggestions?
Driftit replied to Avenged.SSE's topic in General Discussion
After the nightmares my family and family friends have had with Singapore imports I would rather walk than drive another one. Go for a Jap or NZ new one. Not having issues with a Sinapore import is pure luck. -
Nice price. Pretty good value for money. And if you not into the 3d stuff like me it is the best one around in 42".

I just purchased a TV today. Was looking at the 50" Samsung Plasma 3d. And comparing it to the Samsung LED 40" 3D. About $100 between them. I didn't really want a 50" but they didn't make a smaller model in plasma. Plasma to me seemed superior. Mainly because there was no jitter/latency. Of which I noticed on all the display LED/LCD's. I sat and watched a 3D preview video. And some 3D Avatar. Not impressed and not really my cup of tea. And with the higher resolutions coming out early next year I decided to just pick up a non 3D Panasonic Plasma Z series and upgrade at a later date if need be. 3D is not worth the $1000 extra I would have had to pay imo. So I grabbed one of these. (Samsung did look better I reckon) http://www.panasonic.co.nz/viera/plasma/th-p42v20z.html $1800 inc gst. Might be even cheaper with the 20% off Bond and Bond sale going now.

Send M3power a PM with your questions. He knows the E46 M3 inside and out and owns one of the rare M3CSL's of which sees the track on a regular basis. All the CSL's are SMG. Oh and Greg's car even ran in a solid 1 hour miny endurance race not long ago.

Haha mate I am doing the same thing for the same games. When I get bored they will be up for $1 reserve. But I had a go in Harvey Norman today. And I really hate the PS3 controller. So might have to get a wheel too.

I have noticed recently how many cyclists ride on Ti Irangi Drive. There is no cycle lane on this road. It is a dual lane highway with a speed limit of 80KPH. To pass even a single cyclist on this road you need to move into the other lane. Getting along at 40KPH in a 80KPH zone is suicide in my opinion. This also happens on the Pakuranga Highway. One of the busiest roads in NZ which has narrow lanes and a 60kph speed limit and a crap ton of traffic lights. Traveling at a much lower speed than the surrounding vehicles is being reckless.

Sorry for you loss mate. But I am with Andrew on this. I would never ride a bike on NZ's roads. I don't trust the people around me when driving a car let alone riding a bike completely unprotected. As sad is this sounds. My Dad has always called Cyclists and Motorcyclists 'Temporary Citizens'. And in a way he is right. Just look at the people who's hands you are placing your life in.

Whats the rules with driving a WOFless car?
Driftit replied to Gotheschu's topic in General Discussion
Straight up. I would drive it home myself. Have done in the past. Also been pulled over doing so. Told the cop the truth and what I was doing and he had no problem with it. Though if you want you can borrow my trailer. It is at my house at the moment. But will be going back to its home on Friday night. -
So $1107 inc gst. Unless you have the sender state the items contained are $400NZD or less combined. Very little chance of that happening. BTW. If the sender does modify the invoice to state you paid no more than $400NZD. You will only be insured for that amount if there is any damage or if it goes missing. It is best to plan for the worst.

Skids. Maybe 10 years ago. Or when being influenced by drunken BMW racers.

For a car this heavy to be able to pull flat 12's in a 1/4 mile. Tourqe.

Nice. My Dad has the next shape up. He absolutly loves it. The supercharger is just insane. Dragging off sh*t heap holdens when your towing the race car is great fun.

Happy Bday man. See you in a week.

The schnitzer M6 is back on TM. There was a bit of info about it on here a while back. I had a quick search but all the auctions listed did not show the car any longer. Was this the one that is not a genuine schnitzer and has M-Tech front and rear? Also brought in from Japan? Possibly down on power? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-326665724.htm

Will have a chat to a mate of mine Jack. This might be what he is after. But don't hold your breath. Will ask around work and some of my customers and see if they have any work for you. But the automotive industry is really suffering at the moment.

Ahhh pickapart. What you save in money you waste in time and the unknown condition of the parts you pull off. Occasionaly you get lucky and find a real score. Use to go there and pull out the R200 diffs out of everything. Paid $45 for them. Sold them for $250.
