I read the drivers are pretty shity at being made to drive in peak hour traffic. One blew his clutch which is apparently $10K to replace.

Sell it and build yourself an E30 series car. Most fun you could ever have in an E30. And less things to go wrong. As you rip them all out. Still road regd too remember. So much fun!

Strange thing is. I owned Nath's E30 before him. I had no problems. Purchased it and sold it in the same condition. Though I never went hunting for rust or anything like that. With my racecar. The only problems I have had were having a diff blow and take the gearbox with it. Now the E39 is a little worse. Paint on Bonnet and Boot was poorly done and is now 100% stuffed requiring bare metal respray. Got driven into by some pos bush troll who now refuses to pay. Car now has 4WS due to rare toe control arms shitting out. Gearbox is making some expensive noises. Now sits in garage not being used while I drive around in my very reliable E30.

Just look at some photos of the race series cars. They are much lighter than a road car too, so maybe sitting a little higher than yours would. I have found over a year of racing the springs have settled to quite a nice height. And yes they will fit your car. But don't expect it to handle like a series car. Unless you upgrade the old shocks too. Stock E30 shocks are a big let down.

Should mention that nobody will be seated. But because it is tiered I should be able to see everything.

Actually most of the posts are just stating their amazment at the price the wheel reached. So imo there is no "tall poppy squad". Just those who are amazed. Those that would not pay that much. And those trying to justify how much they paid for one. Nobody really cares, other than Ari Gold who might make some unexpected $$$.

Its not the Death Magnetic tour guys. So they will play a good variety of their music. One at the Supertop was deafening! The explosions killed my hearing for a few days. However this time I am just going to get Seated tickets. Don't think I could handle the pitt anymore.

Can't wait. Lost a shoe and had sore ribs for a month when they played at the supertop many moons ago. My Ride the Lightning T-Shirt somehow went from a medium to a XL. I might fit it again now.

Same thing happened to me 8 years ago. You can't stop people talking about it. And I never even tried. Most people learn from it. If your car is not prepared right. Or you do stupid things like mismatch your tyres. Crashes occur. What cracks me up is the idiots who blame the track. Every open day I have been to there has been a crash. And it is always due to someone not knowing what they are doing, driving an ill prepared car.

So his tyre choices were even worse than I expected. Mismatched fronts with unscrubbed rares? WTF was he thinking. And a full slick with 3x semis. Never seen a Honda lift oversteer there before. They usually do it at the start of the hill. What my mates who saw the incident said was that he dropped a wheel onto the grass. Which is your typical scenario for crashing at that spot. And this would no doubt come down to an unbalanced car. Mismatched tyres = Fail. It is also why it is a WOF requirement.

I am quite rarely surprised when someone crashes their road car at Puke.

quite a few vids of this car posted on this forum. The car burnt to the ground just at the end of last year during a hillclimb. Is being rebuilt.

On Fith Gear one of the guys shattered his ankle trying to drift one at a track. Not the safest things in the world.
