  1. Just looking at this M5 auction. NZ New 1999 but has the luxo seats rather than the sports seats. Was this an option? Never seen an E39 M5 with those. Or maybe I just expected them to all have decent seats. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-279835534.htm
  2. Worst interior I have seen in many a moon. Momo Arrows went out of fashion in around 1999. Chicken cooker should be replaced by a M30 Turbo. This is likely to cause you quick death by passing through a brick wall back wards though.
  3. Yeah if you don't pick up the second hand one Autolign does them new.
  4. Have you got any pics mate? Could be interested.
  5. Lol. I have a 1990 320 manual that is in better condition (immaculate!) that I picked up for $1000. Also has less than half those kms. Hell it still smells like a showroom BMW inside.
  6. Dad has a 97 XK8 Vert. He loves it. Wanted a E-Type but just doesn't have the time to spend on keeping one going. This was the next best thing. Its only done 30,000odd kms. Weekend car. Problems he has had with it. Flat battery a few times RR brake light bulb Car is great fun for spading chicks. Owned since 2000 I think.
  7. It is a cheap and simple conversion. It is best to start with a 2.5 block. Then all you need is 2.8 crank with spacer and shortened (very easy) B25 pistons B20 Rods stock rings, bearings and anything else you want to do. 1.3 Motronic ECU and loom Reflash ECU by Gavin at Hi Velocity. So if you are starting with a 325. You don't need much. Once the crank is adjusted you just rebuild the motor as normal.
  8. This. Done it before.
  9. Find me a MP3 one Ray. Though they are as rare as rocking horse poo.
  10. Yeah thanks Brent. I just remembered I tried to thief my sisters Ti's stacker and it didn't fit. Her car is a late 96 early 97. So it must be the real later models.
  11. Bushmans That stuff is craptastic. Use a bottle bong so you don't have to taste it.
  12. Hmm once I fix EVERYthing else on my 540 I will fix the stacker. At the moment I have 4 wheel steering. Shitty tow control arms.
  13. I use to drink a ton of coke. Untill I had a tooth fall apart while I was in England with no insurance. Cut my trip 2 months short due to funds having to be diverted to fix it.. F U Coke!
  14. Mine says No Disc even though it has some. Worth fixing Grant? Or should I just get one of those Ipod things.

    "Rangi Mods"

I would take the soarer over half the modified cars on here . At least it has the balls to make up for its appearance.
  16. Thats what I have been doing. Just sh*t odd jobs for mates.
  17. Did some of the later model E30's have them? My 1990 did at some stage. Cut out many moons ago. We should try and figure out when the models started getting them. Which models never had them etc to help out any Bimmersporters. My 1985 NZ new 320 E30 never had one. But I think my old 1985 NZ new 325 E30 did.
  18. My previous work experience is quite varied. Ranging from business account management/customer service to technical software and hardware roles in IT to vehicle importation. Also have a near complete Diploma in Business to be completed part time after hours next semester. Thats also where I think my problem lies. Maybe my skill base is too varied and not focused on one area. Most jobs that are advertised have a very narrow role these days. Does piss me off that a large portion of the jobs I have applied for in the last few months give you no response at all. Not even a "You failed!" email. I realise that they are inundated with applications. But how hard is it to put out a mass email. Recently I went for a dream job which was down to two people. I was not picked. But they did not even bother to call or email me! I had to contact them twice to see what was going on. They also would not give me any feedback. No wonder AU, AUT, Massey have 100% full classes. Might as well make the most of not having a job. Get up to $300pw if you are over 25 too.
  19. That last clip. What an a**hole! Hahaha. Great though. I don't know anyone that could debate with that man.
  20. After not being able to find stable work for the last 4 months I am contemplating going onto the UB. Up until now I have been avoiding it by living off my credit card and doing odd jobs from mates etc. Really brings your self esteem down when you realise you have no choice until you find some work.

    DTM part 2

The guy has put up a few more in car footage vids now too. Awesome stuff.
  22. When did you get married and have kids? sh*t that was quick.
  23. Long one with the spade is your Oil pressure switch wire (down under your oil filter) If it is not even turning over then you have connected your starter up wrong. On a PFL there should be two big wires (red and black) on one terminal. And two small wires on there own terminals. One below the main terminal and one next to it. If you have these backwards it will not turn over. Sometimes if you have them backwards the starter will not throw out and engage.
  24. You will get your Bimmersport Man Card back if you strip out and cage your Herne Bay Trophy Wifes E92 and enter it in the BMW open class. Until then stop trolling the thread.
  25. Do so mate. Help the people you are leaving behind. When I left Vodafone I did that. The team leader was reviewed, the team interviewed. Team leader was removed the position and left shortly after. Though I had to direct my letter to people higher up the food chain as it originally got ignored.
