  1. Only a handful of Silvias are using it. And they are Tuned for it. It does make more power than the BP 98 octain but you need to tune the car for it. But I would never use it in something as old as an E30.
  2. Yeah a mate of mine has the newer shape and has said the same thing. I just presumed because it was a Honda it would be. Still one of the better Otara Taxi's though. Shame there is not many Renault Espaces here. Very quick they are.
  3. There is a bit of power to be found from the M20B20. But not alot. In the race series people are getting up to 130rwhp. Which is a good amount of power. But as stated. A M20B25 is not that expensive, an easy swap and around 138rwhp with little to no mods. All my 325 has is an budget exhaust, 300,000kms on the clock and it is 140rwhp. Dynoed.
  4. Ok I am just wondering if there is many parts that are better on one motor than on the other? Or are they very similar? The 320's have a few little differences that when combined can lead to more power. Mechanical differences.
  5. Yeah 1J is quite a bit heavier. But the SR is quite a bit lighter. And a CA will be running its big ends every other day. lol
  6. Was a thank you post to Gavin a week or so ago. I have found nearly everyone I have delt with in the BMW scene to be very good. In the Nissan scene nearly everyone I dealt with tried to rip me off or was an a**hole. BMW ftw.
  7. Would prefer a facelift motor. Do not want something that has been cooked, or has any damage. Worn camshaft, stuffed rings are fine. 0211 88 77 33 or PM Cheers Dan
  8. Hmmm I see. I am going to drop the car at my mates Pitt Stop tomorrow morn and will look at my other 320's setup and see what needs to be done. I may run out of time to sort out the valve this week. But will get into it next week. Needs to be sorted. Will keep you updated.
  9. The brakes only started playing up on Saturday morning. And I did the conversion quite a while ago. I have a feeling it is the booster causing the probs. Will get it rebuilt. The brakes stay on. But I can hold them off by pulling the peddle back. Could be only a small split. And I never installed the proportioning valve from the other car. I will get one to put in. I never changed this over as the guide I followed for the conversion never mentioned it. Easy fix though. Cheers mate.
  10. My E30 series car has been converted from drums to discs. Now I was just wondering about the valve that controls the rear brakes. Is this valve (can't remember the bloody name of it) any different on the models with Drums? I spoke to another driver over the weekend who had done the same conversion and was also looking into this. Now as for my peddle not returning. It is actually a little more than this. My brakes are actually staying on. To the point where I lost a few positions coming onto the back straight. Until I pulled the peddle up with my foot. Didn't worry me too much over the weekend as there is only two braking points for us really. But was another thing to try and remember. Is this the booster playing up? I have tried adjusting the linkages. I drove the car home from the track and pretty much had to hold the peddle up the whole way home. So was getting worse over the two days. A light on my dash was flicking on and off occasionally. : o : sort of looks like that.
  11. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a fan of the CA. Would never own one. SR or RB25+ if it is Nissan. But I would go 1 or 2JZGTE.
  12. Haha thats great. Would not surprise me if it did say that. http://www.qsl.net/ah6hy/japlish.html

Shame your selling. Nice car. Just a question though. Your Height. Is that just a result of the Whiteline super low springs. Or is there more done to it. Reason I ask is my 325 is a crapload higher than yours and I am looking for good springs. Yours is the best height I have seen so far with just springs.
  14. Just talking to my Dad, mentioned that they have sold very little tickets this year. Especially corporate stuff. Radio was saying that you will be able to walk off the street on Sat night and get a room. Whereas in past years it was booked out from November. Not good news. Hope it doesn't ruin it.
  15. Why would you want to. The real racing is at Puke this weekend and Taupo next weekend.
  16. Lol. Yeah it has a BMW S14 motor in it. Also think it has all the M3 suspention in it too. Great little car. With a body that your not worried about smashing.
  17. Haha this is great. R35 GTR playing in the Snow at the Nurburgring. http://www.gtrblog.com/index.php/2009/01/1...-in-wint?blog=4
  18. You sound like the kind of owner a CSL deserves though. Cheers for the info. Even though it is not my post.
  19. Awesome that the cops responded so quick though. Would be a much worse story if you had said the cops didn't care. Gained much respect for Police response time recently.
  20. Gotta be Dury Tyres. lol Oh wait! Your in Chch. In Auckland it would be Dury Tyres.
  21. Man I hope I am single when I own a CSL. Can't run a female and a CSL at the same time by the looks of things.
  22. This is still one of the best E30 Clips around
  23. Hey do you guys have a local where you play often? I posted your vid up on the Nissansilvia forum and someone was asking.
  24. There was a CSL doing 1:09's around Puke the other week. Had an awesome looking carbon intake and huge brakes.
  25. Rare can be great when you own it. But not when you are trying to buy.
