Hulme car was out doing laps at Puke on Friday. You need to be out thrashing your own cars at the track to see these things. I was pretty gutted that the show was on the same weekend as the E30 series final round. And the last big airshow also clashed with a E30 round. As much as I love planes. I love racing cars more. I did manage to catch a city over flight of a P51 chased by a Vampire and a ummmm slips the mind. Another jet anyway. Was sitting at my Dads in the viaduct when they flew over.

The ceramic coatings only come in two sweet colors. Black and Grey. haha. All other coatings will help reduce temps but no where near as much as the ceramic coating does.

Have a look at mine of Friday Dave. A few mates have had their turbos coated. Works a treat. Looks alot better than heat wrap. Heat wrap gets all manky pretty quickly. But wrapping or coating will give you similar results.

I see there is plenty of kits on Ebay. I dont care about Navi. The $5 map book will do me. But would quite like the phone function. But I also didn't get a car with a phone. At some stage I would like to be able to play MP3's and be able to pick the song I want etc. My car does have DSP if that causes any problems.

If you have an E39 540 you could save yourself some money. The plate E39540 is on TM for $500 starting bid. But if you want a more sh*t version for a crapload more you can get the plate FIVE 40 for 10X that! Yes someone thinks they are going to get 5K for the plate FIVE 40. lol. Would rather the plate E39540 for 5K.

I dont think the ABS system is linked to the main ECU at all. All the brains for the ABS is actually attached to the ABS pump. But the car is being dropped at my mates Auto Electrical shop tomorrow to see if he can hunt down the problem.

I recently purchased a 97 E39. But I dont have a TV at all. I wanted to get the system at some stage. I presume there is more for me to purchase though?

Because then I need to spend $500 on a cert plate. Not interested in pulling it out unless it is going to cost more than that.

Ok I have spent the last week trying to track down the problem with the ABS in the 325. What happens is that the ABS engages even under normal light braking. Making it extremely dangerous. As it pretty much stops the car from braking at all. Once the ABS realizes there is something wrong it then puts the light on and turns the ABS off allowing normal use of the brakes. So far I have replaced everything I can that is related to the ABS. ABS Pump Left and Right ABS Sensors (Also cleaned etc) Checked ABS rings for damage. Replaced drivers side. Brakes flushed Both relays There has been no change. So what else could it be? E30 Guru's only please as anything newer is totally different.

Those Kiwi As ones are ok. You get over them after a good handfull though.

Yip a crapload better mate. Make sure you get a wicked offset it you get new wheels though. The only chrome that should be on a BMW is on it's trim and bumpers.

I got caught passing a truck not long ago down by Matamata. I could not even see the cop car in the distance. Which means he could prob not see me ether. But his radar did.

It is $16.80 for a new set of plates. Then the Euro plates I am going to get are the ones from overseas as I can't afford the $600 that Plates.co.nz want to charge you for making a longer plate. All up prob around $70. But would cost me more than that to fix the Euro plate scratches and wear on the bumpers.

Will go and claim I lost one of my plates so I can get a new set. Something other than EGG. Then get them made as Euro plates. Will also cover the scratches where Euro plates have already been.

Might chuck them on the racecar to scare off anyone trying to pass me on the corners. lol. But I am going to change the stupid EGG plate thats for sure. Going to order me a Euro plate tonight.

Haha yeah he is dead right. Just had a look on my spare motor. But it's not a bad idea to replace them while you can.

They really do have an amazing stance dont they. Would love to see one in the open class one day.
