  1. Hey Andrew. Quite keen. When could I grab it? Cheers Dan 0211887733
  2. Just watch the new episode of Top Gear UK Season 12 and you will realise how much better it is. How can you not compair it when the Aussie show is just a copy. Why on earth did the Aussies hire a cartoonist though? Maybe it will get better in a year or so.

    Daily Driver

I had an RS200 Altezza 6spd. Was a great little runaround. And extreamly good on gas! But you want an unmolsted one. I would pick one over any E36. I do like the interior of the Altezza too. Sporty but not too hard. Also had a P11 Primera many years ago. Was an Autech molested one though. So had a bit more pep. One of the best handling cars I have ever driven. Getting pretty old now though. I owned mine nearly 10 years ago. And it was 4 years old back then. They are the two cheaper cars to run and buy.
  4. The last three I have seen all sold for around or less than $800. My offer stands. The kit is in ok condition. Bumpers have been painted I think.
  5. Yeah also watched a few of them. But they are just not interesting or funny. Will not bother anymore.
  6. Seen your car at Glenn's. Such a shame about that rust. $800 for the full kit. That is what I sold my full mint condition kit for on this Forum.
  7. Got all excited about the short block until I noticed where you are. Just dont have the time to get down there to grab it.
  8. If you can not sort it. Go and see Brendon at Hope Hickman Auto Electrical at the Top of Nelson Street in Auckland CBD. He has worked with E30's quite a bit recently and has done alot of work on their headlights.
  9. What area are you from in Auckland? It is a pretty simple task. You may be able to find one in the same color too.
  10. Cheers mate. Will order them 2moro. As for the Oil Pump. Is there a trustworthy aftermarket part that can be purchased? The genuine ones are very pricey. But if they are the best than I dont mind paying.
  11. If you are out in East Auckland. Take it down to Half Moon Bay Marina. Drive down to the dry dock area and as you pass through the gates the station is on the right. They also take batteries. But please be responsible. It is the only place around our area that takes it.
  12. It is all fun and games until someone close to you is severly hurt by bullshit cheap fireworks. And even worse when they are so young that they do not understand why they have burns all over them. Speaking from family experiance. And they were being let off by an adult. Backyard fireworks are lame! Would much rather go and watch the massive ones let off at a public display.
  13. I will be getting a cam and valve springs. This motor is dead cheap comparied to what I have recently built for my 180sx. From what I have been reading the Poms seem to be getting anywhere between 180 to 250hp. Some of the higher figures of course have extras like manifolds etc. As for the chip or tune. I am not 100% sure just yet. Will have another chat to him when I take my series car in on Monday for its tune up. But I am going to install the Facelift 325 loom and ECU.
  14. Had a talk to Gavin at Hi Velocity and will also be using the facelift loom and ECU which makes things alot easier when it comes to timing and tuning. And my list according to the guys on E30Zone M20B25 head/block/pistons/inlet manifold/injectors/ECU M52B28 crank M20B20 conrods Catcam? 273 degree cam Total seal piston rings Heavy duty grade main and big-end bearing shells New rockers and shafts Spray bar Water pump Main and big-end bolts All new locating dowels
  15. Not on E30zone no. I will read them now. I have read through various others though. Will sign up to e30zone now.
  16. Hey guys I am just about to start building my M20B28 for my worn out 325. I was going to dump a 1jzgte in there but thought I would have more fun from a BMW motor as power is not everything. Thought I would take a crap load of photos and keep a diary of the build for eveyone rather than being secretive like some others who are currently building. Plans so far are to use my current M20B25 motor which has currently got a case of the 300,000kms worn cam shaft and rockers. Other than that she was recently dynoed at 101rwkw on a very tough low reading hub dyno so I am hoping the block and head will check out AOK. Still have to work out which Cam and ECU setup I will use. Any help and suggestions are welcome. My first question is a simple one. Which main and big end bearings do I use? I presume the stock M20B25 Mains and the stock M20B20 Big ends? (M20B25 and M20B20 bearings the same??)
  17. Hell you can pick up one of those 10" Tube subs for $70. They are good enough. Built in amp too.
  18. Check out this beast on Ebay! http://rapidshare.com/files/158660762/Far....C-Unleashed.rar

When I get my 325 going again we should get them out for some fun. Will just chuck my series cars wheels on it. Will be able to out brake me easily though. Mine has -3deg camber too.
  20. I am another East aucklander. Bucklands Beach. Will wave out if I see you. Keep an eye open for a white 4 door E30 Race car running around the area. Very noisy. Hard to miss. Been looking at an E34 or E39 as a tow car. Yours looks nice.
  21. Yeah after reading around it seems like a real hassle. I might just look at the read height adjustible platforms from ground control.
  22. I worked out mine depreciated at about 15.3 cents per km
  23. Yeah I will have a look next time I see you Jonathan. I think I will look into it more. I want to try and get my rear end much lower but with a good spring rate. The random brand springs I have now are just plain sh*t. A mate of mine is one of the custom shock builders at Racelign. So changing them around is no problem. Wish there was a cheap M3 setup sitting around.
  24. I am going to convert my suspention setup to 2.5' id springs. So that I am able to muck around with spring rates. But I am just wondering if this is possible in the rear as I have not dealt with trailing arms before. Is it possible to have a coilover setup in the rear. i.e. Coil over shock. As I know this must offset all the weight on the arms to the very far edge rather than in the middle where the stock spring sits.
