  1. Did you see the huge 4 car crash there last Wed? They had to close off Botany Road. Some A hole ran the red. Mate was nearly killed on Ti Irangi at the Botany South intersection when someone ran a red and T-Boned him at 90 odd kph. Would love to see the stats for the red light cameras. How many people get caught a day etc.
  2. I was wanting to get an M3 at the end of next year. But I think I will have to compair the M3 and 135 now. Can imagine the 135 has alot more room for modification though. Being turbo and all. Add a couple of bigger turbos or a big single and see how see boogies.

I hate most of them too. But there is some that I think suite the car. Very few of them around though. Look at this pimp ride. Plate suites it so well Go the Justy
  4. +1 Had my fingers crossed when I clicked on the link. Oh well back to trolling Ebay looking for goodies.

I have the plate DRFT IT. Currently on my 325. But belongs on my 180. Was given it on my 21st from my Girlfriend at the time. Was a drift fanatic back then. Had it for 6 years now. Prob wont sell it. Even if I dont put it on a car. Only problem is that someone who lives around the corner has the plate DRFT T.
  6. Looks like good fun. My Dad has done both the Porsche one in Aussie and the Holden one at Puke. The Porsche one was in Sydney and was a whole weekends worth. Was a couple of Aussie V8 drivers (can't remember who) But you were taught to handle all the Porsches available. Alot of money though. I think it should be compulsory for everyone to take a course like this.
  7. Oh dude. Its a real effort to be classed as a G-Unot in an M3. God I want your car. Swap ya. 211rwkw 180SX Type X and my 325 for your M3. Oh and Jonathan. I will check tomorrow for you in regards to the clearance. Pretty sure there is quite a bit. But being 15's I can't fit much bigger calipers on.
  8. As long as it is fully caged from idiots being able to jump off or throw things onto the lanes. You should all realize what sort of people this will attract at night time. Just worried about the surrounding roads that would support the cyclists accessing the walkways. I hate them with a passion. As riding your bike on Auckland roads alongside Auckland drivers is not the smartest hobby in the world. I have seen two severely injured cyclists in the last few months who thought it was a great idea to risk their lives on main highways.
  9. Wow nice. You must have been bored to dig up a near 1 year old topic.
  10. Yeah but nobody cares about what a Honda looks like other than other Honda drivers. So dont worry.
  11. I was trying to convince some knob with 17x7 +40 full faced random brand chromes last night to buy some for his awesome cut sprung auto 318 with tag style car crew stickers on the back window. Sometimes I am almost ashamed to tell people that I drive and E30. As they instantly picture me hanging out the window with my flat peak tin lid gangster hat of a car matching the discription above. If you fall into this category. Everyone hates you. They all think your a gimp. But if you changed your ways and purchased some of these sweet wheels for your E30, you may gain some respect back.
  12. $70! Wow thats a really good price mate. And they are certed too? Most lines cost 4X that amount.

  14. Mate posted this on the SNZ forum. Looks like great fun. El camino del Rey http://www.brightcove.tv/title.jsp?title=1438490562
  15. Nah your old car was better
  16. With the prices of SR's at the moment it would be better to look at a 1jzgte conversion. Cheaper. More power. More potential. And this is coming from someone who has owned SR20DET powered cars for the last 8 years.
  17. And light. Good quality too. If you do go to the extreme and get the 15x8's they will look like this
  18. Or just do it the crazy way. Get a blanket to catch the flying parts. Then undo the nut. You will still need the compressors if you want to put the standard springs back in though.
  19. Will hunt around for the Dyno sheet and scan it in. If you like give my good mate Regan a call at Racelign. Racelign is part of Autolign. (09) 5742291. He made my current shocks up. The fronts are the best ones off the shelf for the E30. But have been altered a little to suite the height. Apparently I have BNG eurospec 60mm spring kit. But when I was changing the shocks I noticed that the spring was quite soft. I think this brand is more for looks and height than performance. I have heard nothing but bad things from the Kings Springs. But the whole E30 series run them and I am yet to hear anything from them. But have seen alot of sagging from them on other cars. Another brand I can try is Dobi. Unsure on their spring rates though. Will have to look them up. I cant wait till I have my Series car going so I can compair cornor speed with the 325. Regan seems to think the 325 will out handle the racecar with the same rubber.
  20. Woh 500K. Thats had some good use.
  21. I fit 15X8 +0 on my E30 no problem. Just roll the rear guards slightly but nothing major. But I think the best offset would be +10 or less.
  22. Nah the photographers were busy taking pictures of old Lancers and Toyota's from the 70's. The Fools.
  23. Yeah not the 300kph + club. Not many of us would be members. But the 300,000km's club. Just would like to see who else has a BMW that has made it to 300,000kms. Was it an easy trip. Or riddled with problems. I am just about to hit 300K in the next day or so. Sitting on 299900 ish. Im not 100% sure if it is the original motor or not though. But the rest of the car is in pretty good nick. For her birthday I gave her some new shocks and a thrash around Taupo track. Its a 1985 E30 325i Manual Pretty stock How many KM's have you done?
  24. I recently upgraded from the crappy monro's I had in my 325 to some custom Bilstiens. Just look at the shaft size difference My rear shocks are custom too. Nearly double the size of the old ones. I have a shock dyno sheet somewhere around of the difference between them. But I quickly found yesterday while at a Taupo track day that the spring rate is not that sh*t hot. I am going to try a few combinations now to see if I can sort it out. They are a bit to soft in the front. A set of much thicker sway bars is urgently required. I have some adjustable top hats that do both caster and camber. But are a sh*t of a thing to set up. You can see in this pic the car is rolling far too much. Well for my liking anyway. lol When I drop your tires off you can have a look if you want.
