just thought i would pitch in my 2c here. dont quote me on this but from my understandings, according to WOF regulations fog lights are now considered driving lights or accesory lights, and therefore are perfectly leagel to use when its not foggy.

if i were you i would pull your motor out, scrape off the black bits, spread some butter on it and see if it tastes much like toast.

Hey guys. thinking of building up a head for an m20b25. does anyone know if the 731 head will fit on? also are there many gains to be made from honing and flowbenching? What are the common mods done to m20 heads for performance? And last but not least what is the ideal cam to run in a racecar that wont rev above 7 and uses stock pistons and bottom end? dont really care how "streetable" it is. just want it to go fast. lol Any info will be apreciated. cheers guys.

if you stroke you will get a bigger crank. you then need to get rods that are just as much shorter than the originals as the crank is bigger than the original.

yeah sounds like a seal in the valve body to me. it must be intermittently leaking. or maby it has just become perminent. cheaper and easier to replace trans.

Selling my 4.1 diff Its a small case diff. still in good condition. makes no noises and works well. i have not done any clutch dropping in it. Preffer pick up but can ship $250

i would lock it up but dont have the money to spend on new rear tyres every meet. im not sure how a bmw would like a lock diff round the track though.

have one in welly. 3.64 small case. in good nick. $50 plus postage

Does anyone know what the extra wires on the ignition switch on a pfl e30 do? I have established the red wire is common power. the ign on wire, and the starter motor wire. Im not too sure on the acc wire and there are 4 other wires, smaller in guage, they are grey and black or black and white from memory. Anyone know what wire is the acc wire and what the other smaller guage wires do?

Hey guys. I want to get an LSD for my racecar. i currently have a small case 4.1 diff. If i get a med case lsd can my 4.1 pinion and crown wheel fit into the med case with the lsd clutch pack? and anyone have a rough estimate of what it would cost to do it if i sent it to a diff specialist?

shouldnt really matter as long as they are connected ok

my best advice to you is get in on the road with the motor it has got. enjoy it how it is and then decide what your going to do motor wise. once you start racing it you will have a better idea of what you want. and your car wont be off the road so long
