im not too happy at the moment. i got a letter through this morning from bp fuels. they have a picture of me filling my car at bp in lower hutt. and they claim that i was incorectly charged. and that i owe them $64.40 wich is about 48l of 91 octane. now for starters i run my car on 98 not 91. and i only ever put 20 bux in at a time. and i have the bank statement to show that. now i am wondering what kind of records the station keeps? like how much of what fuel came out of a pump at a specific time? and can they look back at the transactions and see that i paid for 20 bux of 98 octane? and can they tell by the cctv what fuel i used and how much i put in? cheers. oli

hey guys. i am going to do the clutch on the weekend for me e30 325i. now theres a little problem with that. im in lower hutt and the only place i know that machines them dont do it on the weekend. i was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere else i could get it machined. or if not could someone please swap me a flywheel to get machined in the week and then i will return them my old flywheel also machined next week?

you will hear the pump runing because fuel pumps are noisey f.ers. but it should not be to the point that u can significantly hear it while idling. and if it was running on the primer pump it would run like sh*t as the primer pump is not a high presure pump (dont quote me on that last bit though)

hey guys. need to do some wiring behing the instrument cluster for a couple of guages. and no im not putting in one of those stupid 6" taco things that light up the whole car when you hit the shift light. but need some instructions on how to remove the instrument cluster i had a little poke round today but didnt want to break anything

ive got a litle problem with my cooling system at the moment. i no the expansion tank cap is stufed. may possibly need a new radiator. possibly a new thermostat which i have sused. and i was checking the fan today. i drove my e30 325i for about a hour and then up a big hill to my house and when i got to the top i poped the bonnet and i could easily spin the fan around. does this mean the viscouse fan is stuffed? and how do you go about removing the bloody things?

i need a radiator for my 325i. i think its the pfl one. it has to bolts located on the sides of it near the top holding it to the body. the top hose is on the driver side. bottom hose on the passenger side. and its bigger than the facelift ones. anyone in wellington area got anything?

sounds like a fan prblm to me. overheating in traffic or just sitting round and causing the coolant to boil and exit out the overflow of the expansion tank -

does the sc14 run an oil feed from the engine or does it contain its own oil like the sc12????? -

yeh ive never had any dealing with superchargers before so do not know a great deal about them but i figure the only way to learn is to jump in the deep end and give it ago. its only an idea at the moment. not knowing alot about superchargers im asuming i will only need to make some mounts for it and run the air pipes and make a pully for it correct? -

hey guys. was just curiouse if anyone has attempted putting a supercharger off the old levins onto a e30. and weather there would be a great deal of work involed and how well it would function in the end??

the best crash had to be the one with the toyota racing series on sunday afternoon when he came round the corner off the back straight. got 70% of the way around the corner and just piled head first into the concrete wall

yeh im going to pull all the brakes off to give them a lick of red paint soon so will put up pictures then. -
got my 2nd bmw last week. its a e30 325i used to be a 320 but has been converted. along with evo 4 front discs and calipers a bigger master cylinder and a front rear brake balancer the brakes mean that u cant fit anything smaller than 17s on it. was just wondering do you guys think these brakes will be any beter than the origianals???

mine does that too. it will be a dodgy conection somwhere either in the guage or in the conection to the sensor. i cant be bothered trying to fix mine so will just get a new after market guage

checked head gasket this morning with this blue liquid that turns yellow when it detects exhaust gases and showed up fine. i found when you drive nicely it doesnt loose any water. suspect a blockage somewhere?

got my new e30 325i the other day. and the last few days it has been using quite abit of coolant, the check light only seems to come on when i give it a little sh*t but driving nicely it doesnt use coolant too fast. there are no visible signs of leaks. anyone got any ideas?

hey guys. i got a 325i the other day. it has the pfl computer system in it with the mechanical dizzy in the side of the block. is this l.jet or k.jet? and it currently is running on a 323i ecu. so i need a 325i ecu for it. can anyone help me out?

good luck with getting 195s on an 8" rim. i would recomend putting kingsprings in all round if you want to do alot of towing. the height you wish the car to sit at is up to you. you can get stock sized springs which will make tha car sit a little higher than stock because of the extra stiffness. or you can get lows which from memory are 40mm lower and 30% stiffer. or superlows which drop your ride about 60mm and are around 40% stiffer. you will definatly notice a difference with towing if you put kings in. i recomend king springs over other brands because these are generaly more heavy duty and not too expensive.

just got my 325i e30 yesterday. it was all good. checked everything out. ran sweet. and then today. was going fine. got to my friends place. turned it off. all good. started it up again when i left.... put it into gear and took off and for some reason something didnt feel right. then. about 2 miniutes later i changed gear and the clutch pedal starts vibrating when you push it. it seems to me like that is a signal that the clutch is stuffed. can someone tell me how easy it is too do the clutch on my driveway? i have done a few gearboxes n stuff so i know how it works. but i heard that the top bolts for the belhousing are a mission to get too. can anyone give me some advise or info? cheers oli
