my key is a diamond kind of shape with a bmw logo in the middle as the lock button. are they prone to being fragile atall? i dont think its a flat battery issue if it charges in the ignition because normaly it would play up abit before hand i would have thought. and not just suddenly stop working is there any way it may have unprogrammed itself?

hey guys. when i got my e46 i had 2 remote keys with it. the remote suddenly stopped working oneday about 3 weeks after i got it. so i used the other key. now that has done exactly the same thing and i have been using it for about 3 weeks. does anyone know what this could be? i have a feeling that its not the battery as it didnt show any trouble before. it just suddenly stopped all together. any ideas? cheers oli

hey guys. considering a rebuild on the getrag 240 sitting behind my race motor. does anyone know where i can source syncro kits and bearing and seal kits from? and a ballpark figure on a rebuild. cheers oli

have got 2 e30 diffs for sale. one is a 3.64-1 ratio and i belive the other is 3.7 or 3.9-1 ratio taking up space so must sell.

hey guys. got some e30 stuff to get rid of. i have 1 facelift radiator for a manual bmw. front grille front and rear lights. front bumber. pannels. front subframe. stering rack. everything exept springs. rear subframe drum brakes. including diff 3.6 to 1 ratio all parts can be sold seperatly. any interest please pm me cheers. oli

ok guys. i am not confirming the sale of any bits until saterday. but i have a pfl 1985 e30 that i am scrapping. the engine and gearbox is going in my other e30. keeping wheels and springs and rear shocks for me so the items for sale are. facelift radiator x1 motronic v1.3 loom with distributer etc etc and 2 computers bumpers x2 2 1/4 inch exhaust with raptor middle muffler and stainless big bore rear muffler. the body x1 any interest please pm me cheers oli

just call up brake and trans or repco or something and see what they have got listed. if its not the same as what they list DONT USE THEM

does this sound like a duo valve problem and are they comon to fail? i want to try and narow this down as much as i can before i start playing with stuff as i realy dont want to go on a wild goose chase

hey guys. doing some work on one of the workmates cars. its a 1996 328i and the heater blows mildly warm on one side and no heat atall out of the other side. it has the fully automatic heater control with dual climate zones. i have a sneaky suspition i know what is wrong but am not 100percent sure. where the heater pipes (3 of them) go through the firewall. 2 of them conect to what looks like a little regulator. it has a pipe in the bottom which gets hot. but the 2 pipes coming out of it are not very hot atall. can anyone help? cheers. oli

i was just watching the picture thing at the top of the screen. and up popped a picture of 4 or five e30s parked up next to eachother with a wall behind them. and sure enough the gold one at the front is mine. just wondering when and where it was taken and who owned it then? its gold with the rego nl678

hey guys. as you all probably know im building up a racecar e30 at the moment. just a few little things left to do now. now i was being a little nieve and went and got a huge 304 cam only to find out that it was too big. now ive done a little research and im going to get it ground back to a 284 which is what is recomended for my needs. calford cams quoted me about 200 for the grind not inc shipping it there and back. does anyone know of anywhere i can get it done more local to wellington?

put a post up a few weeks ago about the best way to do the clutch on my e30 325i. from what responce i got you guys made it sound like it was hard. a hoist a rattle gun and a few sockets and extenstions and the flywheel was down the road at bnt in 30 min. no messing round with dropping engine mounts or subframes. but anyway to the point.. while its out im going to do the gearbox oil. what are the recomendations for oil to use? ive got some 75w90 hanging around. would this be ok or is this a little too thin?
