Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
-
We've heard throught the grape vine if you do a few tweaks here and there, i.e chip, remap, tuning of such, that you could quite easily reach Veyron toruqe figures!!!
-
Mid to late this year, BMW germany had these at 800nm but decided on reliabilty over neck snapping.
-
Will be a stunner for sure! Can't wait to drive it!
-
Was there a way to increase that and do you know how much horse power the 2.8 was at peak boost? Just trying to way up the benifits of fitting this, not poaching info
-
Off hand, do you know how much boost this was putting out?

"Phantom" black Great car but when time comes to cleaning it's a complete bitch, finger oils can burn the paint, bird poo can not land on it or the paints f**ked within minutes. It comes with its own cleaning kit to assist the bitchyness of the job.

BMW would be the only place to have those tools, every inspection II they are soposed to be checked and adjusted if neceresary. Not done these days.
-
The frame of the grill yes, as all BMWs are. The vertical grills are chrome on V8s only. (All BMWs).
-
BECAUSE IT'S NOT A V8!!!I see how this confused you, chrome kidneys.
-
You said, "oh yeah and the 3L" and i was pointing out all the other V8s including E39, E53 etc, the chrome bit goes for all.
-
3L, 3.5L, 4.0L, 4.4L, 4.6L, 4.8L 5.0L.
-
The V8s in general had the wide kidneys. Also the V8s were the only E34 that were chrome. Oh and Mike, are you kidding??? The amount of older GT5 cars is piss poor, that's what happens when the game is made in Japan, that's why they will always have Honda Odysseys and never have E34s.

All Vanos systems are different, some are easy and some can be vaginas to do. Mine needed a special tool to get the unit off but didn't effect the timing, if in doubt get someone who knows what they are doing.
-
Nice car Paul. Z4 M Coupe, mmmmmm.
-
The vanos seals are easy to replace, did mine in the S50 and made a HUGE difference. The M52tu and M54 are twin vanos.
-
Really? Was yours standard? The old man use to have a 330 and we had a bit of a drag (on closed roads, controlled enviroments blah blah) and it didn't stand a chance, well maintained very low km example, then again mine is well maintained also. The E46 are a very heavy car for the size, the M54 has alot of torque, quite an adictive amount, even the 2.2 M54 gets up and goes.
-
Most are dailys, all the ones here are, haven't driven a remapped one.
-
Goes to a base setting, slightly richer.
-
The 328 hasn't got either and the M3 soon to be like wise.
-
330 has heaps more torque!
-
That's cheap.
-
I love these, sooo much quickness!
-
