Can be speced with motorsport suspension, i.e M4 wise.
-
Are you talking F30? Cause the motorsport version hasn't been released as far as we are aware?

SNZ invited Bimmersporters to 4th Annual Trackday - Itinerary pg5
Greg111 replied to tarrbaby's topic in Track Day Events
Yes this is going to be the obvious answer to our track day i think. As Mark has said, Playday ltd can't secure the track for time i requested without a firm number of participants which i wasn't prepared to say yes to. Can this be put up as our annual??? Obviously highlighting the fact that June is the cutoff. The people who annually say yes then pull out at the last minute need not reply. -
Ha, you got me there, the air flow meter has a grate across it so it couldn't have sucked it up, by the looks of it, it's been apart before. Dunno, didn't see that when pulling it out, it was wedged in. Not even a genuine clip either....pffft!Not sure what sort of plastic it is but the engine has coolish air runing through it all the time plus the coolish fuel getting sprayed directly onto it so it must have been enough to keep it in form.

Oh my word!

Twin turbo V6. Boo!Plus, what M3??? The E90 is the very last M3 ever made! The Motorsport version of the F30 is now called an M4.
-
Just a plastic trim clip, obviously not quite hot enough in there to melt it.

No vids of yours? Secret 32 GTR fan.

Depends on engine really, in a whole they are fine, like all cars they have their good bits and not so much good bits.

So after thirsty thursday pub time i thought it would also be a good time to remove the manifold off the V8 to replace the pcv valve (cheers for the fast delivery Lance, top man), no the manifold doesn't need to come off to do this but i have my reasons, anyway i found this just chilling out in one of the ports: Don't ask how it got there but glad it ended there.

Looking straight up the straight? With the two corners right in front, that would be a good stand.

It's ok, let it out, let it all out.

Surprising how many E30 V10s there are floating around the world, mostly crazy Germans.
-
Jones stand Tom? Gotta be the best stand for spectating I reckon.

The M52tu operated electrically via fly by wire but had a back up emergancy throttle cable also, M54 went solely fly by wire. If you only have the throttle cable connected that'll still do the same thing.
-
In all seriousness, is it an M52tu or 54? M52tu has the electronic throttle body with back up mechanical cable, M54 is soley electronic.
-
So little progress then.
-
And of course that's the need to get upset.

Nah, most of our staff have been so far. They all came back very worse for wear

There pcv valves are made from tiny gold particles.

Does anyone have one lying around??? Preferably new but if you have a known good second hand one that might be ok. Chur.
