    E70

4.8 V8 is the motor to get if you weren't set on diesel, you could wait for a further 6-12 months and get the new 4.0d, you think 600nm is heaps.....

    E70

Have driven both Clinton, the twin turbo has way more pull as the turbos both work parallel with each other, i wouldn't sneeze at the single turbo though. The E70 is a hell of a lot better looking X5 than the 53 too, wider and lower. We see a black IS 4.8l V8 E70 in at work that is lowered on black 20's, looks great.

    Headliners

Ha and if there is a sunroof? Taken a headliner out of an E60 M5 and had to remove the whole sunroof mechanism, that was very testing.

Mine hasn't started yet, coupe will proberly be a bitch to get out.
  7. This is a proper race series with lots of excitement, over watching the supercars now, got bored of them. The last bathurst 24hour was very cool with lots of competition and lots of different cars involved. 335i won
  8. Not this low now for the obvious reasons that this site has recently seen. Oh and the jacking hole cover is in its home again.

    Headliners

Just did my parcel tray in the same stuff, came up quite well, did the headliner come out easy?

    BMW 1M revealed

I beg to differ, went for a good run today in an E92 M3 six speed manual, with the M button pushed (as always) it definitely is no slouch, was insane really. Makes mine fail in comparison.
  12. I have 225 40 18 goodyear F1s, seem to be pretty good tyres, although i recently noticed a large crack the whole way round one of them, don't know why, just appeared. Wouldn't mind trying some different ones next time round.
  13. How would those harness's be attached at the rear of the seat?Super nice!
  14. Sorry to bring up an old thread but i was reading this a few weeks ago and decided I'd give this a try as the M3 had two of the symptoms, the attached adobe link is straight from TIS which is a BMW workshop manual that knows everything to do with the brand, anyhow i ordered all the needed "O" rings from BMW, four of which had to come from Germany, and went to work, fairly straight forward and easy process, anyway i now have a whole new car, completely different vehicle to drive, more toque, deeper sounding noise on take off and just quicker, don't get me wrong, the car was quick to start with but now! Just thought I'd share with y'all.
  15. Mate, seriously, if you want your account deleted just don't come onto this website, no ones asking you to be on here!
  16. Would prefer the 306GTi to a 206GTI, 306 seem a lot happier in the revs than the 206 unless it's the 206GTI 180 which is a completely different car all together, normal version the 206 wins.
  17. It gets out of the shed every now and then, Hastings is a big place haha.
  18. I shall be doing this on the weekend, had to drive the M3 to work today and it started raining in the arvo. Rain plus dust equals very dirty.

    Oops

Bad move if you're planning on going to Quality's, i've seen their work welding sumps. The word sieve comes to mind. Are you getting it raised afterwards?

    Oops

When the car sits 50mm from the ground that usually does happen. Put bigger wheels on it. Or sell it
