2003 M3 in a lovely individual avus blue NZ new 112xxx Km SMG well optioned with harmon kardon audio, large tv screen, parking sensors, muiti-function steering wheel....etc this is my dream car and it took me a long long time to find one like this. I am a very fussy owner and this m3 is in very very good condition, inside and out. fully service history and since i have owned this it has only been serviced and maintained at jeff gray bmw chch. i did a few mods to it which includes KW v2 adjustable suspension, BBS CH-R wheels, black side grills, OSRAM Xenarc Cool Blue HId bulbs, K&N panel filter....etc i still have all the original parts which will go with the car (factory 18" m3 wheels, factory suspension) only known problem i know off is a slow oil leak. I took it to Jeff Gray and they said its so slow its just wasting money fixing it not sure what else to say now, pm me if you want to know anymore these photos does not do my baby any justice (taken with iphone) avus blue in a the sun SOLD bye bye

Wow this turned up in Christchurch now http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-640953793.htm -
they are dropping like flies, UK imports has really pushed the prices down, a 08 with 70km is sub 50k now few months back they were about 60k.....there was also a nice space gray jap import for 50k sticker price with the new M4 coming out, i bet there will be a flood of UK imports which will push the prices down even more

how do you know how many owners your car has?
-
oh i feel for you simon how is JG treating this situation? did you talk to them about what if the pump doesnt fix this problem? i myself is a JG customer but i do have other cars and can tell you they are the most expensive dealer out of all the euro brands in chch (price per hour for repairs)

in terms of petrol vs diesel, i would pick diesel, they are just that good now in terms of E90 vs F30, i like the e90 better. The chassis feels stiffer and the steering has good feel. The F30 chassis feels softer and i dislike the new electric steering in the F30

damn! Vanos problems too...i feel for you man i hope the temp sensor fixes your smg issues

alot of car for the money but would be scared to know how much it would cost to maintain one...heard they chew clutches, brakes and i bet changing the fluids wouldnt be cheap either on a M5 i sold my 99 320i cause the maintains cost costed more than the car itself....felt sorry for who ever purchased it from turners
-
never seen a black one before, they are always blue i think a good groom would make a huge difference
-
i never found it a problem here in chch, all the larger BP have 98 not sure if any other brands sells 98 here
-
I know the owner, he and his brother likes the same cars, they use to both drive black X5's
-
where did you see those?
-
did you notice clarkson was wearing a kathmandu jacket....wonder if he got that when he was in nz
-
wow you guys have great negotiating skills i will see what happens in the next few months, if its still there and nothing else has turned up i might fly up and give him a offer. its not the perfect car for me but if the price is right it will do lol thanks guys

been waiting for a trade in at a bmw dealership which could offer a factory warranty but none has come up in the last 8 months but that 08 sedan (not a bad thing as the prices on these have been dropping) hahaha i think the dealer might give me a boot if i gave him a low 60k offer....they normally make about 2-3k? on a car? anyone know what a mech warranty is worth these days? autosure terms and condition says they wont insure a m3

i'm just keeping my eye open at this stage, price wise is pretty good i think. There isnt many second hand NZ new out there for sale, guess everyone is keeping them until the M4 comes out in about 2 years time as for spec wise i would like a 09+ with DCT other than that i dont think i need anything else
