Want to sort these bushes out first, I will be buying them next week, and hope to have them done a few weeks after that. I have a terrible shimmy that makes it very unsettled (hoping it's the control arm bushes). Might be able to bring it around this weekend if you're free (and provided I havn't started pulling bits off by then).

Hey, Just after some information. I'm looking at upgrading all the worn rubber suspension components on my 540i to nolathane etc. My question is, what is the standard size of my front and rear sway bars? Realoem says front 23mm and rear 15mm...unfortunately I don't have a vernier calliper to check. Cheers, Ian.

You gonna try what Marty told my mate Max? Taking M60 auto trans bellhousing, cutting it off and welding it up to an m30 gearbox? When he told me that I thought what an awesome idea. Where would you get the computer from?

Haha...I just turned 21, drive a 4L v8, have had 2x driving convictions, full licence...and pay $142/month...this is without a no claims bonus and never being insured before.... Perhaps try pioneer insurance? haha -

sorry to drag this back up, but how much would it cost approx to get a custom made bell housing for an R154, supra/soarer/chaser gearbox and where would you go to get this done?

I believe they can't take your licence off you unless pulled over by a cop. 30-39km over limit = $300 I believe
