    Low e28

If you're going that low the wheels have to be wide with diiiiiish. I'd run 16's and rock some stretch too. Not gonna be Stanceworks worthy otherwise!
  4. Have you tried Eurorec on Blenheim Road?
  5. Bump for price drop to $7750ono Normally there's a million people on here jumping over each other to get their hands on a clean E30! Where are they now? Ha!
  6. Might need more than beer.... it's a good 100km drive there and back!
  7. OK, car is sold. Buyer and seller are happy. CLOSED.
  8. Shameless self plug... spend a wee bit more and buy a real BMW! 325i
  9. Need a price on your listing please mate... forum rules Cheers!
  10. ^Yep, E36 knob... but was on the car when I bought it.
  11. Cheers guys... another quick bump before it goes on TM... (can you tell I'm having a hard time letting go?) EDIT: Just PM me with any q's or I'll give you my ph number if that's easier.
  12. PRICE DROP TO $7750ono Trademe listing ___________________________ This is an enthusiast owned 325i which has had no expense spared on all needed repairs. Originally an automatic transmission car, it has been converted to manual at some point using all genuine BMW parts. Odometer currently reads 125,000kms Spec list: - South African built car with all associated extras: Long range fuel tank, cruise control, maplight mirror, on-board computer, electric mirrors, windows and sunroof. - Genuine 15” BBS RS001 split-piece wheels. - Full genuine AC Schnitzer bodykit - Recaro-style BMW sports interior - M-Tech I steering wheel and M-Tech gearknob - Lowered 35mm on H&R Sport Springs teamed with factory M-spec Bilstein dampers. - K&N panel filter in factory airbox - Minor cosmetic mods such as clear indicator lenses and all-red tail-lights. All chrome trim has been shadowlined black. - Panasonic ipod control headunit with ipod and aux cables hidden in glovebox. I purchased the car in early 2009, sending it straight to highly-respected BMW racecar mechanic Graeme Clyde at DCH Motorsport for a thorough inspection. All items that needed attention were replaced and the engine underwent a full top-end rebuild at considerable cost. I have all receipts for work and parts done during my ownership totalling well over $5000. Cambelt, waterpump, powersteering belt and thermostat all replaced at 117,000k's. Engine runs like a dream, starts first time even on cold Christchurch winter mornings. All regular servicing has been carried out by DCH Motorsport. Car has only been driven on weekends since in my ownership and has always been garaged. Known issues A/C does not work, but is still connected. Rear subframe bushes will need replacing soon. Fuel gauge needle flickers when tank is filled. One elec window switch works intermittently (replacement switch needed) Window wipers shudder on intermittent (easy fix) Drivers door lock is stiff, (I just unlock the car from the boot) Minor scratches in paint consistent with a 23 year old car. This is a really well looked after E30 that is not far off being a “showroom” example. It also has a lot of rare parts on it that us E30 nuts pay big dollars for! Price reflects the fact that you can get in this car and drive it without spending $$$'s on all the usual maintenance issues that come with E30 ownership. Please feel free to ask any questions. I am in Rotorua but car is garaged in Christchurch so if you wish to view please contact me and I will arrange someone to show you around the car. No swaps or exchanges please. $8,495 ono (will throw in an M-Tech I rear spoiler too)
  13. DCH Motorsport are very good and thorough. They'll do a 2 hour inspection for $140. Also there is Kevin Burt Ltd on St Asaph Street.

    RAPIDO for sale

Fantastic looking car and very nicely set up too. GLWS.
  15. Used to see this all the time when I lived in Chch. Sounds awesome. I wonder what his reserve is? I'm guessing it'll be quite high.
  16. The model number of the wheel should be stamped on it underneath the centre cap. They're definitely RS's .... my guess RS003's.

    clay bars

Get the Mother's kit, it now comes with two claybars and the detailing spray. Think I got the last one for about $50 (but was on special at Repco I think)
  18. When you write a for sale advert personifying and naming the car for sale, there is a fine line between coming across as "funny" or "crazy" This ad is in the crazy camp. Big time.

    Speeders fight back

This whole show is re-enactments of court cases. So the guy is just "acting" like a tool. Based on a real story though... so funny nonetheless.
  20. QFT This is the spec list of the car shown in the video: Engine: 2826cc, cr: 10.8:1 Crank: 84mm (M52B28), piston: 84,5mm orig. last oversize Tatech EMS (no AFM, coilback ignition, WB lambda control, etc) 305cc injectors 540i throttle body Camshaft: Kent Cams 288 with standard rockers and springs (Before I had dbilas-dynamic 312° lift 12,5mm + dbilas spring kit + PPF rockers) Adjustable cam gear Exhaust: free flow 2,5 inch (one tube) Modified intake manifold Lightened flywheel Sachs Racing clutch Big coolant radiator Suspension: Coilovers with Koni Sport + H&R springs (140 in front / 60 in rear) M3 aluminium wishbones All rubber mounts are changed to ones made by Powerflex. Rear axle and diff mounts are from aluminium - no rubber there... Toe / Camber adjustable in front and in rear Rear diff 4,27 with modified LSD unit (double no of friction disks in it) Front and rear strut bars and full FIA approved roll cage Brakes: 312*25mm Audi S4 rotors in front 294*19mm BMW 328i E46 rotors in rear E34 540i brake calipers in front and rear Big master cilinder from E32 750i - 25.40mm Ferodo DS2500 pads and Castrol synthetic brake liquid That's not a slapped together 2.8 build. That's a serious racecar.
  21. Radiator airlock Water pump has shat itself Have you checked the viscous fan too... the fan clutch could have died. Thermostat buggered Or could be a combination of all of the above...
  22. My mechanic who has worked on BMW's for decades says to always use dinosaur oil. These old engines don't take kindly to synthetic.
