    Please post a video!
  2. Okay I have one with me now....It's not that one though and this one is 9.4KG.... Can I safely get it taken down to ~6.5KG ? Any experiences too on what the general cost for lightening a wheel?
  3. Did you use an m40 getrag 240? You will need a 320i manual driveshaft and the selector linkage. Looking good though, big improvement from the matte black.
  4. Any of engine bay, Doing the m50 swap weren't ya? Going now?
  5. Needs to be made public, can't be viewed otherwise.

  7. I'll point out the obvious and say you probably cut the wrong wire or if it was sharing a power source and you have cut that out. Only way your going to fix it is by getting an e30 ETM and find the wiring diagrams then trace the wires ..

Looks alot better on the BBS RS'. Always wanted this car..
  11. Definitely 16", 17's look too big IMO, especially dished wheels. I have those in 16x9 all around, Fronts poke out so 8" would probably be perfect. They look good in that black too..
  12. Pedal box between auto and manual is the same, You just need the longer bolt and clutch / brake pedal from a manual car and slide it in to replace the auto brake pedal. Master cylinder mount is already there. Maybe because the Brake booster is on the opposite side of the car, it's easier to just change the brake booster rather than modify and fit new brake pedal. I believe there is a coding plug that is required to be changed on the 318i cluster, probably easier to just get a 325i cluster or a damaged one.
  13. It's called a 'Euro plate fillter' - Looks shite without.
  14. Nothing much really, Diff is easy to change just find a medium case LSD. You have wiring to change and the clutch pedal to add, relatively easy to do did that on my last e30 with the m50 as it started as a 320i auto. Ended up with 3.64LSD, 325i suspension and converted to manual. Cluster is the same between auto / manual except the rev gauge may show red line differently..

    Fork that!

Ugh.. Read this earlier. Struggled to read.....Damm
  16. Maybe you can find my flywheel in that time?
  17. F*ckers. Hope if you find it it's still in that same condition.
  18. I would just re-kit, the old steel shifter plate type one was always crap IMO, But will be fine if you change all the mounts, knuckle bushing and shifter cup bushing.. You may be limited with upgrades for the shifter linkage but worth checking. I would buy a new clutch since it's a heck of a job why bother use a used clutch, may aswell go new to avoid having to remove the gearbox again. It's one of those "While you're there" type things, Like the rear main seal.
  19. If you are looking at doing an m52 e30 swap then I strongly recommend reading the M5x - E30Zone Wiki. Every component of the swap and branches off into some great info. Wish I came across it last time I did it (probably didn't exist tbh) There are heaps that have used getrag 240 (e30 m40) gearbox behind m52 with no issue, I would say due to it's low cost / simplicity that it bolts directly in with no modification and using mix and match of OEM parts. Edit* linked wrong page

    e30 tow bar

How do the ones you have fit? I would remove bumper to install, Just temporary. Wouldn't want to chop the tech2 rear just for a tow bar. I worded it wrong I believe, I mean I want one that fits into the bumper mounts, then normally standard bumper bolts ontop. I want one I can easily bolt on by taking my rear apron off and bolting on easily. Already have wiring plug hiding behind the bumper just want a bar.

    e30 tow bar

Anyone got a FL type towbar that bolts onto rear bumper? Want one that can be fitted easily without having to drill millions of holes as a temporary bolt on / off when needed. (Wellington preferred)

    1990 SA 325i

What did you pay for it? Just swap your wheels from this and tail lights / lights and it would look way better. Then swap all the goodie parts over too.
  23. I used that on my last swap, m50b25 NV from an e36 into a facelift e30..
