You should have grabbed the entire assembly, headlights and brackets. Then all you would need to do is some re-wiring.
-
If it's all original and in good nic they seem to hold alot more value as it's hard to find e30's these days that haven't been butchered so people will pay a fair amount for an original.

Anyone got a recon'd starter? Had mine jam on me today had to whack it with a hammer, don't know if I want to risk it dying completely since I will be doing engine work next week anyway. Need is ASAP if anyone has one tonight / tomorrow message me or text me 027 7739761.

You probably can't use a Siemens ECU as the sensors are different between Bosch and Siemens
-
Wish I could say the same about my past e30's, screwed me over so many times. My current e30 touring has only failed me once when the fuel pump had died, luckily outside my house.
-
It just fits around the metal guttering. Just press is back over or look at it side on you will see it just clips over it.
-
Even with a Hammer it would budge? WD40 it, Andy swears by it

That 3.25 diff looks like a small case diff not a medium case. If it were a medium the rear cover would fit, As it stands the rear cover will not fit and neither will the LSD center as its a small case center.

You need RHD specific ones which clear the steering arm, Ebay tends to have more LHD stuff.

Yes they do, Look at Sportmaxx rims. They were a common 16x8 0 offset rim used on e30's. Couple guys on here used to have them. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/17651-matty104s-e30-325/page-15?hl=matty104

Take the computer offline too, remove it from any network connection to other devices / internet.

m52tu pretty much is an m54 more than an m52, as per the thread I linked; The main reason is down to management, can bus and fly by wire mainly, there are people that know how to flash this out of the ECU but its still a big secret and as such they charge fortunes for it, £800 odd. The other reason is the head/gas flow design, when they designed the engines they were not interested in them making more power, just reducing emissions, due to this the ports are much smaller and IMO give less scope for power increases. I would stick to an m52b28, I know kerry on here did the m52tu, but went OBD1 and vanos delete to do so. So much trouble when you can just use an m52b28 as is.

E30Zone is your best bet, UK based forum and they have the same spec BMW's we do, also a whole lot more people doing 24v swaps http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=244105

Nah all Touring's have 51mm struts. True 3 people....Do they all turn full lock sharply into driveways ? lol The rears need rolling for sure..But front's on 16's .. Guess it depends what size tyres you have and how much of your suspension travel you sacrificed. Airport shipping; I went with Kiwishipping in the end http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/42452-international-shipping-airport-only-shipping/?hl=%2Bairport+%2Bshipping
-
Need an e30 rear battery tray, just the tray none of the other stuff.
-
They only do to Airport terminal shipping, which is a nightmare I've heard. Mine aren't rolled at all with 16x9's... Then again it's not slammed but pretty low and I've never had guard issues.
-
If you buy this I'll help you put it in?
-
One for Andy
-
16x8 fits easily, I have 16x9 ESM wheels ET15, Fit fine in rear just needed a 5mm infront to clear the strut. That is a good deal.. Wish I had money I'd so get me some of those all black ones
-
I don't really go much over 100kmh anyway, Maybe cruise at 110kmh every so often on straights. The only issue I have is that I MUST be at the front of the line I hate being behind people on the open road, takes away from my driving experience, How can you express your anger at the driver if you have to crawl past them on a passing lane at 104kmh .
-
Nah I bought this my mate has the engine for his touring

I did my low beams yes. Really easy. Just remove them and heat the glass slowly and pry it off. Remove the inner reflective surround and sand / paint. Then put it back together with some silicone adhesive to seal them. Edit* Should note this only works for e30 low beams.
-
No this is perfectly fine. I have mine like this and my previous e30 that Sasha has. All you are doing is painting black the reflective surround which sits Infront of the headlight bulb. It does not limit the amount of light coming out of the headlight as the light is coming from behind it anyway. HOWEVER, that only applies to the low-beams. The high beams reflect the light off the rear reflector so you can use the method of black cross hairs so they appear black and reflect the black and appear smoked, But won't actually affect the light output like painting it black would. It's exactly how Hella made e30 smoked headlights.
